Priya, I also loved the scenes you mentioned and when they're in jail and Naomi says with watery eyes: "I wanted us to be together so badly." It broke my heart a little bit. The proposal was sweet, too.

I feel so cheated that we didn't get to see them actually get married. This finale would be their anniversary (if the writers don't screw them up before that) so they can do something then to make up for the lack of on-screen wedding.

Did you guys notice that they used the same melody from Blue Naomi when she's inside the theater?

I was kinda disappointed, mainly because I expected Alec to not show up until ep 2. Wanted way more Maxomi scenes, and there was the opportunity to have them.

I did think it was the most romantic proposal of the series, and I'm a big Navade fan so that's huge. I also enjoyed the jail scene, the court scene, and Max realizing that they were driving with the bandit. But again, Alec wasn't in those scenes or he was silent. I know they're setting up something there but it could've waited.

I have more to say but I'll wait.......

I'm glad the writers didn't forget that Max is a nerd and we got all those references (Albert Einstein quote, Star Trek, the constellations, feeding habits of predatory animals, etc.)

Was I the only who squee'd a little when Max said: "We could have been married and have a second kid by now..."?

This. I can't believe we got that and they actually acknowledged the pregnancy scare. So many stories from seasons past have just been swept under the rug.
