Episode 4.07 Discussion: It's The Great Masquerade, Naomi Clark
 4.07: "It's The Great Masquerade, Naomi Clark" BRANDY NORWOOD GUEST STARS --- Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) has to work with her arch-nemises Holly (guest star Megalyn Echikunwoke) to throw a campus costume party, leading to unfortunate consequences. Navid's (Michael Steger) plan to bring down his Uncle Amal (guest star Anthony Azizi) is threatened, while Silver (Jessica Stroup) discovers that political candidate Marissa Harris-Young (guest star Brandy Norwood) is not who she seems. Meanwhile, Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) handcuffs herself to Dixon (Tristan Wilds) in an attempt to get him to stay sober and Annie (Shenae Grimes) must decide if she wants to give Patrick (guest star Chris L. McKenna) another chance. Matt Lanter and Gillian Zinser also star. David Warren directed the episode written by Brian Dawson (#407).  __________________

 i liked this episode. in fact, im really enjoying this season! First of all, I am loving Ade this seasons, which is crazy. I never thought she could be redeemed, but she seems to be legit and I love her this way! Also, I adore her and Dixon! I haven't really liked Dixon's storylines since season 1 tbh... but his drug problem and ade helping him out is really interesting to me. I really loved watching them handcuffed  but then there is this liam/ade chemistry so im all confused!!! but ultimately, i think im more into dixon/ade  Annie's storyline is somewhat interesting, yet creepy lol. it kind of seems like a filler, tbh. I love Naomi and Austin though... yet not enough build up. She oozes chemistry with whoever she is with, but i feel like as far as relationships go, her and max were my favorites last season and i dont think anyone can replace them, even though i didnt feel their chemistry this season like i did last season. i actually felt it more with her and austin, but i dont think the "game" or the angst lasted long enough. I am soooo over navid and silver  ive been over them since last season. I dont think I will ever love Navid with anyone as much as i did in the first season with him and ade. that was pure magic. I thought i was gonna like him with Silver, but it didnt feel right when it happened. even though i know they love each other, im just not that into them  Navid used to be my favorite character, but he is no longer fun or funny. He is always mopey. its annoying. Ivy. wtf. really? A triangle while her husband is trying to survive cancer? lolwat?! I know nothing is going on right now, but i felt some serious hints for the future and its kind of annoying. Writers gave her marriage... how about respecting the sanctity of it as long as they're both living  bleh. I am really into Ivy/Raj too  liam and modeling seems about right  although i think austin was the clear "ab winner" but besides for that, not that interesting. im thinking there is a liam/ade/dixon triangle in the works. thats when it will get interesting!so... basically, thats how i felt about the episode and the show as a whole right now. |

Thanks for the comments. I haven't seen the episode yet although I thought since this episode had so much Dixon/Adrianna interaction there'd be lots of comments.

Yeah I don't really see why they can't have him running hoops for her instead for a change. It's always her doing the chasing.
