Ivy just bigs me plain and simple and it's for the same reason that Teddy bugs me although he bugs me a little less.

I don't see the need for guest characters to completely take over the show. I understand that they're needed to move storylines but I honestly think that Teddy and Ivy could achieve whatever their objectives are without taking up countless scenes.

Chastidy I agree, Ivy is annoying to watch but Teddy is a headache. He just is not convincing as a good character to me. He's just too much of a pretty-boy kissy type

Heh nope although there seems to be a common dislike for either guest star.

You can rant about anything show related, it doesn't have to be just guest stars though.

Also I wish Debbie hadn't done an entire 180 in the whole lying about Sasha being pregnant escapade. I don't get how that would benefit him at all given that he was actually the victim in the whole thing in the end. Making him wonder and feel guilty is hardly going to accomplish much...

is this bizarro 90210? where the stars are guest stars and guest stars are the stars? my big complaint is why would silver even with the dying moms in common hang out with teddy who screwed over her friend? First ethan, now teddy? it looks like this year the writers are making silver the girl who nails everyones' leftovers! So out of character!

I understand that Dixon could really be upset about Sasha's fake miscarriage but did anyone find it weird that he suggested she have an abortion? I just don't see how he could be that upset, I don't know Dixon has always been my least favorite character

He's just rude a lot it's like he thinks Silver and Sasha are crazy for wanting to spend more time with him and he just dumps them.

I swear Dixie is lucky Tristan is playing him, b/c there are so many times this season that I want to slap him, IMO he should have been the bi-polar character.

I don't mind having guest stars, to be honest. I just think the writers on this show focus way to much attention on them. I mean 2x07 had no Navid and 2x08 had barely any Naomi. The writers need to fix this asap I don't like Navid, but I'd rather see him than Teddy or Ivy all the time. Jamie and Richard are perfect guest stars they didn't take much time from the main characters, but only to make Naomi realize she needs to work to get into the school she wants.

Ivy is lame. Have some self-respect and don't throw yourself at a guy who isn't over somebody the use to like.

I hope that these guest stars are going to be a stepping stone to bring the main group back together so that we can finally have a core group of friends to watch.

The drama between the main cast is not interesting to watch when there aren't even real relationships to begin with. If these guest stars are not a catalyst then to me they have proved pointless because in the end we'll still have a disjointed group of people whose lives barely connect.

I really want to love this show and I give it a chance repeatedly, I'm probably obsessive, but its so frustrating that the characters have not formed into a tight knit group of friends. Its like watching acquaintances.

Agreed completely. I didn't even dislike Teddy nearly as much as a lot of people do at the beginning, but even I'm getting sick of seeing him in every episode for like half the screentime. And now stuff's centering around Teddy--the thing with Adrianna, some budding friendship with Silver, and who knows what else. Can't say I'm liking this. Either make him a damn regular cast member or lower his screentime/plotlines.

Along the same lines, Ryan has the opposite problem. At this rate, I don't care to see any more Ryan, since he seems to serve no real purpose aside from propping up Jen and giving Jen more screentime and interaction.
