I'm excited too I wonder why Rita kept that she was married twice

My theory ? It didn't mean much back than , it was one short "I want to get away from my mother " thing . And now it's kind of hard to tell : "Oh by the way , you're not my second husband , you're the third. How do you like that?" Rita is just over the confession point by now

So , what about Deb and the CI files ? Any theories?

I'm sure she's feeling that she's made so many mistakes/bad choices that she doesn't want to be in the mindset with her new life with Dexter....

I'm sure that one (or even both) previous marriages was to get away from her mom... Can't blame her either!

In regard to the CI files, I think Deb is about to find out about Dexter's mother and Harry being involved with each other. When that happens, she won't be far off from figuring out that Dexter and Brian/Rudy were brothers.

About Rita being married twice instead of once before, I think she is just embarrased and doesn't want to look like she makes bad choices. She knows Dexter's never been married and she wants to look good in his eyes. Dexter knows all about it and he seems to understand she was very young with the first marriage and doesn't act like it's a big deal at the moment. I mean, he has a pretty big secret of his own so he is in no position to judge her.

Imagine how mad/upset Deb would be if she finds out about Rudy/Dex. She would have not known that Dexter killed Rudy, it's going to be an interesting season. I know Deb can go all the way and find out everything.

S4 isn't out till Fall 09, so we have a little wait till then. You can see the promo though in the first post of this thread

I think he agrees with that POV, but it's gotta make you wonder... Secrets usually come back to bite you... I'm wondering if something will happen in S4 around that subplot?

It's kind of scary to think that Deb might actually figure it all out about Rudy and Dexter and Harry and Dexter's mother. I'm really wondering what Deb will do.

Does anyone else think that Deb subconsiously knows about Dexter being a killer? In season one she was supposedly unconscious on the table when Rudy was telling Dexter to kill her.

I have two brothers and if one of them turns out to be a serial killer I would be mad , angry , sad , confused ... all at once . I would hate him at one moment only to cry my eyes out a minute later because I love him . But I'm very sure I would never ever be able to turn him in .

Yeah I always wondered that, but also when she woke up she had Dexter & Rudy fighting she would have had to have known something else was going on by the intensity in that room ... I can't explain it

That's what makes me think she knows something but hasn't quite remembered it. In season 4 she might just see something that will trigger her thoughts back to that day with Rudy and Dexter.
