Yeah, it didn't flow as natural as the others did, IMO.

And I just think the overall storyline in S3 was better. The Bay Harbor Butcher storyline felt a little stale to me after we had S1's brilliance of the ITK.

Neither season IMO has held up to S1, but I enjoyed S2 a bit more than S3. And my main issue was while it was a great story to tackle for the show, it wasn't executed in the best way possible. I lost interest and had to play catch up.

Yeah. I'm not sure I enjoy season 3 as much as the first two either. I'm still in the middle of it though.

Sorry. I must confess I've only watched the first episode of S3. I still compare the later Dexter I've watched to S1 because I became so enthralled with it. Dexter is such an amazing show.. and I tend to be overly critical of television shows, but even those episodes i didn't feel lived up to first thrill were still very well done and enjoyable. I can't wait to get back into the show though, especially if it's going to excite me like the first one did. And my friend just got Showtime!! so I'll get to watch S4 as it comes out
