What?! The Good Wife got disconitinued in Germany?! >.< Why??!
 Yeah it's still very popular here although it's being broadcasted on a commercial network which always has lower ratings than the public networks. Hmmm yeah his German voice isn't so bad really it's just that it somehow misses the depth and complexity of MCH's voice, which is logical, I mean after all how can you mimic the actual actor.. Hard act to follow.  There is no Dutch version, we don't do synchronizations (thank god..  No offense but I much prefer it with subtitles - once you're used to it you never want it any other way! Trust me!  )Makes me curious about what Dex sounds like in different languages.. *Makes mental note to do some googling/ you tubing to hear some samples* |

I find it most distracting when I speak the language well enough but am not familiar with certain expressions, idioms etc, as well as accents or the fluency with which it is spoken. I have that issue sometimes when watching a French or Spanish movie. My brain is half and half working on translating it myself and the other half with reading and taking in what is being said.. But it's all a matter of exposure I think. If I watched more Spanish and French tv and subtitled movies the process gradually becomes more automated. Anyway.. Great job!! |

I saw that their were reairing it at one point on in demand cable... but it wasn't the first season, and I wasn't going to jump into it mid way through...
