On growing up musically inclined. “I was constantly singing. I would hear things on the radio and just be able to spit them out instantly, with perfect memorization and tone. It wasn’t like I took pride in it; there was no effort. My parents were like ‘Shut up. Please stop singing. It’s annoying.’”

On whether celebrity albums are necessary. “If anyone asked themselves that, then we wouldn’t have the crap we are listening to today. If your heart’s not in it, don’t do it. And don’t do it for money. That’s my philosophy.”

On Disney fame. “I try not to look at all of it. You can’t enjoy or celebrate it; it’s not a real thing. The face on the lunchbox and ****—you can’t share that with your friends.”

He had some interesting quotes in that didn't he? I love the fact that he took the time to watch himself in M&OW, but it kind of disappoints me that he never watched himself in Hairspray or 17 Again. He did so remarkably well in both of those movies.

He watches his movies, but I think he's saying that this is the first time he was really into the movie? Like, maybe he wasn't so nervous about his performance and more focused on the movie as a whole and enjoyed it without being nervous about it. That's what I got from it.

I'm not sure if it's Nylon's wording, but he sounds a bit cocky. Not sure how I feel about it. Nonetheless, he looks incredible and I'm making icons

that talk he did about disney NO thats not him talkin cuz he said in an interview he grew up watching disney films also without disney he wouldnt be as famous today.

I really hate magazine interviews cuz the star says something and they twist it

Well the thing that we should remember right now is that these are just snippets from an entire interview. So once it's pieced together, maybe the tone will come off in different way

But yeah the wording is weird, kind of makes him sound a bit ungrateful. Magazines tend to twist things. If he said those exact words, I'll be surprised, but I really doubt he doesn't give Disney some credit for his success, though I'm not even sure that's what he meant when he said that.

Anyway, I love him and I'm proud of him. Hopefully, MAOW is just another step in the right direction as far as more serious roles go. This movie generating a lot of positive buzz.
