Aw, I'm sorry the board's closing :(

Laura and Jas, I'm so grateful you introduced me to David's music and I've had so much fun posting with you both :hug:

This is definitely an end of an era for me. I've been here since the board was opened and a mod here since the first permanent mods were appointed. This board has definitely been my baby so it's not easy to see it close.

I always used to think it wouldn't happen "on my watch", well I guess it did. :lol: Soon I'll be taking on a new challenge in my professional life which lead to my decision to step down as a moderator and consequently the closing of the board. But I'm proud we were here for a whole decade. We had an amazing run.

I would like to thank Jas who's been my co-mod for over 6.5 years and who really saved the board when she decided to mod it with me. :hug: Also thank you Ingrid, your constant support for the board for the last few years has been a huge factor in why we made it to a decade. :hug:

(Also the original bunch of girls with whom we had a crazy couple of years, if any of you reads this, I will always look back at that time and you with fond memories. :lol:)

Oh man, thank you for making this thread, Laura. The title is so fitting and it got to me. Let me take this time to tell you THANK YOU for being an awesome, dedicated mod (and co-mod) for this board from the very beginning and for all this time. I'm happy I got to do this with you. You were so friendly and welcoming when I first posted here, it wasn't hard to apply for that mod spot. :hug:

Yeah, it isn't easy at all to see this board go and it's going to feel very weird when it does but I'm so glad it has been here for as long as it has and that we got to celebrate its 10 year anniversary recently. Thank you to everyone that has ever posted here and contributed, no matter how big or small. :group_hug:

I'm glad for all those times we got to post together, Ingrid. Thank you so much for being a great presence on this board and that we got to share our love for David and his music here. I love that you were there when for that Chromance listening party with Laura and I. Too bad there weren't more songs because I wanted it to go for longer. :high_five:

I'm sad to see the board go; I mostly lurk nowadays, when I have a chance to catch up on David. But I'll always remember being here a lot during my early twenties to fangirl, and will always have a soft spot for the board and everyone.

I definitely know how hard this is for you two, but you both did a fantastic job with this board :group_hug:
