okay well it was the little girl standing to my right (her sister was in between us she was the "i've seen your tweets" girl) anyway, it gets quiet and they were about to start a song and she yells "GO CHIEFS!" and he;s like "Who said that? Turn the lights up!" and then we all point at the little girl and he's all "You said that?" and she showed him her sign that said "My dad hates me because i'm a cheifs fan" (or somehtin along those lines) so he's like "Can we get her up here?" The girl like FREAKS!! her face seriously was like =O so he gets her on stage and he's like "Whats your name? Do you really like the cheifs" and she tells him her name and says yes so he's like "Okay!" and hugs her and then says "thats all i wanted, I just wanted to hug you." and then she's like freakin out and he goes "Hey Mike (?) Can we get her a shirt? Well another one since she's wearing it? Is a shirt cool?" she nods and her sister next to me yells "hello!" so the little girl is like "Oh my sister wants a shirt too." David like laughs and shrugs and he's all "Um.. okay yeah make that two shirts then" and he hugs her and she gets off stage and then he's like "I'm sorry everyone else! I cant be just handing out shirts for free to everyone, Theres a reason we're trying to sell them."

it was so adorable and the girl was crying!! she was with me there when i was stalking him she must have been like...12 haha and missed all the band when they signed autographs and pictures and stuff because she was the first in line so she can have the best spot it was awesome! I was so happy for her!! (her mom gave me her front row spot )

I love it when he does that (he once had a little girl singing ADAM with him on stage), he's such a sweetheart. And I love how being a Chiefs fan got his attention, figures.

That shirts story is pretty hilarious, yeah he can't just hand out the whole stock for free. xD

Thanks for telling the story! That's seriously awesome, because it doesn't take much for him to get these people on stage for a couple of minutes but it makes the whole concert or day or week or month or practically the whole year for the little girl.

And her family sounds great too, so nice of their mom to give you her spot!

I said it in the other thread already but it's just amazing to witness things like this, David's total willigness to share the spotlight (for realz) with Andy, just like that, out of the awesomeness of his heart.

And the look on Andy's face is so touching, the disbelief slowly turning into joy. Admittedly I'm more accustomed to David's vocals on this song (although of course I've heard the original) but it's very interesting to compare the two what comes to their voices and phrasing (especially on the bridge). But that's where the comparisons end for me because both are great in their own right. And total kudos to Andy for his ability to effortlessly switch from backup to frontman and back. That's a pro for you. God I love this band.

But I liked to read it

I have nothing but love for that video. The intro are just pricless and then the way David just stares at Andy and Andy realizes he«s going to sing... it's all so awesome. I have to say, I love to see David just playing the guitar sometimes, you know? It's cool.
And the harmonies?? heck! Pretty fantastic.

What's the third? But yeah, to me closing with SA is fantastic. ADAM is ADAM, but if they're not doing ADAM, I think SA is the way to go. For everything. The song, the meaning, the lyrics, the guitars, the instrumental part, the fact that is from AH... it's perfect.

If Monty leaves I'm going to miss him. I've tried not to get too attached, cause I don't think he'll stay. But he's such a sweet and cool guy, it's hard to "ignore".
