Hi Giulia and welcome to the board! I'm Laura.

Heh, I totally understand not being able to choose a favorite, I can't either. ABMB is my fave studio version too, though. That's cool you're recruiting people! And you're most welcome for all the stuff. I'd love to go to the tour too, but we Europeans will get our chance one day too, don't worry.

Hey Laura, thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah ABMB is so cute, I love his version of that song. *_* Mariah liked it too!
So you are from Europe! Where exactly? I hope we'll have our chance too one day...maybe...I keep faith!

Btw I was wondering what "Tewer" means...Because I searched it on vocabulary and on urban dictionary too... but there's no definitions of that word! Sorry maybe is a stupid question but I'm a quite new cookie fan.

No problem, it's nice to have you here. I love Dave's version of ABMB too, both versions (studio and live) actually, cos it was the one that made me his fan.

I'm from Finland. And yes, that's what we must do, keep the faith.

Oh, "tewer" means tour, it's how Dave pronounces it in his Midwestern accent. It's not a stupid question at all, don't worry!

Hello Katie and Cee, thanks for the welcome! Awwww I love this board! Thanks Laura for the explanation, I never, in a million of years, realized that "Tewer" means "Tour"! Btw I like his accent, it's new for me, actually it's new to me listen him talking because I usually watched AI dubbed in Italian.

You're welcome. I'm not very good at recognizing the different American accents either but I get "tewer" although I've been around the internet enough to get some help with that. That's great that you get to hear him talk, I like his accent and his speaking voice too. I'd hate if they dubbed TV shows here, do they do it a lot there?

Yes they dubbed everything, also "So you think you can dance" and all the tv shows too! Last episodes they translated "my boo" into a strange Italian word I've never heard before. o_o
I usually watching these things subtitled 'cause original is better but there are no AI subtitles and it's hard for me understand what they said. Expecially when Simon uses those strange English words. I'm not a "word nerd".
I'm not very good in recognizing the different accents too, it's enough that I can express my thoughts in English (with grammar mistakes of course) but anyway I've never heard an accent like his, I can say that I like it and I quite understand it.
So in Finland you don't dub anything?

Heh, that's funny about "my boo".

They don't dub anything else than some animations here which I think is really good cos it's a great way to learn English. (Don't worry BTW, your English is fine. ) And I don't think David has a very strong accent, he speaks quite standard American English but there are a few words where his accent can be noticed, though like I said, I'm not very good at picking that up, other people here are better at that since they are actually Americans.

Seriously? In my country it's normal dubbing everything! Italians are such lazy ppl! We are such a moron when we need to speak in an another language.
But I agree that watching shows in English is a great way to learn the language and your country is ahead!
Thanks, but I know that sometimes my English is bad, sorry for that, hope you understand anyway.

And yes, Americans can recognize better their different accents.

Yes, and I'm really happy about it. It's never been a custom here, they once dubbed a popular American soap for a couple of weeks just for the kicks and the viewers were furious. I know they do it with practically everything in the Central and Southern Europe though, I guess we're lucky to have people doing the subtitles.

And really, don't worry, I understand you just fine.

ETA: I'm slow or something but I just noticed "Mr. Biscottino" in your sig, how adorable!

Same here, but I can pick up "tewer", he pronounces it diffently than the standard is.

I only noticed the "vanished" "finished" that he sings in TOML.
