Okay, well since Jas and I were talking about icon challenges (on the fan art board) and taking the themes and practicing our icon making with them, I was thinking why not doing it here.

No pressure though, just taking a theme and seeing if we can come up with something. And since we get you guys visiting us and you have icon making skills, you could join too if you felt like it.

Just an idea.

The guitar shaped icon I made for an icon challenge themed 'shape', I just had to use a guitar.

And #26-#32 were for another challenge (which I wasn't able to finish

) for colorful, that coloring worked well with those pictures and I'm glad you like them.

The 'blow me away' is something I've wanted to try for a while (it's a texture) and I'm happy it worked out with that picture.

They were worth the wait, I'm exited to use one soon.

You really did well with the 'shape' theme, it came out great. Using a guitar shape is a must! Sorry you weren't able to finish that challenge but I'm glad you shared them here. Yes, the 'blow me away' text/texture really worked well, I love the look of it. Text, for me, is so hard to incorporate into an icon and you did it impeccably.

Aw, thanks so much for the compliments.

It's okay I couldn't finish the challenge, at least I got my "icon making groove" on again.

And I'm really bad with text too, I mostly only use textures with it.

There would be no pressure at all. If no one has time or inspiration to make anything, that's fine.

But if you would like to challenge yourself, you could share your work here.

I think it sounds like a great idea! My icon making skills need work so the practice will be good. I was thinking...I tried with that shape theme, I won't know what to do with it.

Were you thinking about something with a deadline or we just post when we can?

I would love to see what you came up with the shape theme.

We can have a loose deadline or post whenever we can.

I think I'd do a horrible job at the shape theme, I'm never tried doing that before. It will be interesting to see what comes of it.

I'm so sorry I took so long to post here. I still want to do this so let's do it, I like that there's no pressure.

It's always good to challenge yourself and see if you can come up with something do, just experiment.

To be honest I had forgotten about this. xD But I can post a theme for us and we can take, let's say the whole May, to make it, does that sound good?
