David Cook 7 Years @ Fan Forum!

It's been seven years since the most rocking board at Fan Forum was opened! This past year has been full of music and good news! David and The Anthemic have been playing live shows throughout the year, embarking on a full tour in winter 2015. The band now has four members, with Daniel as the new lead guitarist and keyboardist. Notable shows include the Jammin Java Brain Cancer Benefit Concert in December where David officially passed the One Million Dollars milestone of raising funds for brain cancer research! The NYC city show from the winter tour was later streamed for Yahoo! Live for everyone around the world to enjoy. David traditionally played a Team for a Cure Benefit Concert ahead of Race For Hope. He did a Navy Entertainment tour in Middle East in May. And at the 4th of July concert he was wearing a shiny new band around his finger so congrats, David!  We have gotten to enjoy awesome new covers, as well as new original music from David. He released a new music teaser in October which featured a snippet of a brand new song. In November he relased a new single (different song though) called Wait For Me, which we all fell in love with immediately! In March his new publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music was announced and in May David finally launched his PledgeMusic campaign with his new album and a bunch of awesome exclusive offers available for preorder! David has been doing a very good job at updating the campaign and now we know the new album is called Digital Vein and it will be released on September 18th! We also have the tracklisting for the regular and deluxe versions of the album, as well 2 out of 4 pieces of the album cover. As if this wasn't enough, David will also be releasing an acoustic EP of some of the songs from the new album! Other updates include snippets of brand new songs, as well as the announcement of signing a distribution deal with INgrooves Music Group, which will hopefully put Digital Vein in stores "all over the place".  All wonderful news for David and his fans!Of course David has continued his work for charity, taking part in The Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic, as well as The Moyer Foundation's Annual Celebrity Golf Classic in November and running his 7th 5K for Race For Hope in Washington D.C. in May. We also got to enjoy two beautiful renditions of the National Anthem when David performed it before the Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans game in September and Game 3 of the American League Championship Series in his hometown Kansas City in October. All this excitement and our love for our favorite musician has made us post for over 270,000 times already (hitting the milestone of 250K on May 1st!) and getting a triumphant victory in our first ever posting challenge in May! The board will keep going strong as the release of the long-awaited new album gets closer and closer.
