Well, I didn't stress about it either. But it seemed more probable to me for Archie to win. So naturally I was very happily surprised when David did and like I said, I thought he should win because he was the best.

I didn't say you stressed about it but I know a lot of people do. I stressed out a little more during Adam's season, for example.
I can't remember which of Archie's performances were the most memorable now that I think about it. I really liked him as a person but he didn't stand out to me in that way. Though I was a Brooke fan and I remember her messing up during a singing/ piano performance. So I don't really have a point here, just thinking out loud in a scattered way. |

I see what you mean.
The performance for Archie was probably Imagine. But yeah, I wasn't a fan of his during the show either. I remember Brooke messing up too. I really only cared about David, Michael and Carly but it was a very likeable cast as a whole and definitely the best season. __________________

I really liked Imagine. I do really like this cast but I need a refresher on everyone else's performance. I do remember them being very likable and not hating anyone or wishing anyone gone.

I think my favorite Archie performance was Shop Around from the semis or You're The Voice. I also remember Chikezie had a great performance on the 1st Beatles week (top 12).
I do remember that a lot of people thought KLC overstayed her welcome. But she was nice too. __________________

Overstayed her welcome is an amusing phrase. I remember that too , actually. Thanks for bringing up those other performances, I'll check them out.
David's performances are the ones I've rewatched, especially since posting here, so his are the ones stuck in my mind. I'm fine with them being stuck there. |

I'm glad he made a post about that. 10 years!

i was confident he would win. It was very nice to love the top two, both of them are so likable with their own style.

I always thought David Cook would take it because his performances (and song choices) seemed more memorable to me a I felt he had more stand out performances.

I felt exactly the same about David's performances but Archie was the teen heartthrob on a show where you can vote multiple times so I thought it was more probable he would win. Not because I thought he was better.

Oh yeah, I get your thinking there. My mind didn’t go there back then, I guess I wasn’t thinking about any of that. It was all about how good David performances and song choices were (and I loved how he worked that guitar) and I just assumed everyone else must have thought the same.
