Here we go with the next part:

It was a month later and Little C was still sick and no match was found yet. Even Jack was not a match. His name was on the National’s registry. He had to go through Chemo and more. He was getting weaker and weaker every hour of the day. Blair and Chuck were at their wits end when the doctor came in and told them that there was a match. They wanted to remain anonymous. Their miracle came. The next day, Little C was taken into an operating room where the bone marrow was put into his little weak body.

Whoever saved their little boy was an angel to them. They made a huge donation to the Cancer Fund. They knew that it was a good thing to do. They wanted to know who the donor was, but they would do their best to respect their wishes. If they knew who it was, they would be surprised and most likely angry. It was Georgina Sparks. How she was the perfect match? No one would know why, but it was a blessing.

Over time, Little C got stronger and Nate finally had an evening to propose to Serena. He was so nervous, but he knew that she was the one that he wanted and needed to be with for the rest of his life.

He took her to the rooftop of the Empire. There was a table with candles, flowers all around, and soft music. She was surprised, but happy that Nate went through all this trouble for her.

“Nate, this is so beautiful. You didn’t have to go through all this trouble just for me.”

“It was no trouble and you are worth everything to me.”

She smiled as they sat down and enjoyed a nice meal that was prepared by the chef at the Empire. When they were finished their dessert, Nate asked Serena to dance with him.

“Why yes kind sir.”

He took her hand and brought her into a warm embrace. “Serena, we have been together for a while now and we have been in a good place and it feels right to you like it does me doesn’t it?”

“Yes, Nate, it does and we have been good, what is going on, what is wrong?”

“Nothing is wrong, I promise.” He stopped dancing with her, got onto one knee, opened his jacket and pulled out a ring box. “Serena, I love you so much and I have for the longest time. Would you please do me the honor of becoming my wife and spend the rest our lives together?”

“Oh Nate, yes, yes, I will marry you. I love you too,”

He opened the ring box and there was a 6-carat Marquise diamond ring. He took it out of the box and slipped onto her finger. He stood up and kissed her passionately. He knew that this was the first step into happiness.

Once Chuck and Blair knew that Little C was going to be okay, they threw an engagement party for Nate and Serena. Some surprise guests were going to show up and then the real fireworks would go off.
