I don't understand why the writers are trying to make him so unlikeable. Like I was telling my fellow NB'ers, they are painting Nate in a terrible light.

A cheater, a manwhore, a flake, a jerk, a liar, a hypocrite, the list goes on and on! I thought that they were going to develop his character more this season but I was so obviously wrong. It sucks that Dan and Chuck get propped up but Nate keeps getting pushed down in an unbelievable way.

This entire living with the Humphrey thing is inexplicable. First of all, is he on the outs with Chuck by then? Because I find it hard to believe that he'd move in with the Humps and not with Chuck and Serena. Second of all, where is Anne? Did they get kicked out of their house until Howard comes back or what? Third, this entire poor crap better be over by the 11 episode with the Archibald title.

Word Gisele, they really are painting him a terrible light. What I don't get though, is that it seemed like they were building up last season when he was dating Vanessa and they make him likeable again. This season Josh tried to be "fun" and "creative" (ew) and made him hookup with a cougar then become a male prostitute. Then, he's going to hookup with a random girl from Yale, and then two episodes later he's hooking up with Jenny... and the thing that pisses me off about that one is it actually seems like he was into it. Sorry, if there is one ship that irks me to no end it's NJ, so I'm pretty pissed off right now. We can only hope he's hitting rock bottom then, I don't know how much of this bull**** I can take.

I know, and where the hell are all his friends? The brooklyners seem more tight with him right now then the friends he's known his whole life.

And Nikki, I cannot tolerate NJ either! Where is Nate's head?! I don't know why they don't want to give us some insight on Nate. It's sad

And you are right. Dude, where ARE his friends?! The people that have been with him since forever? It's things like this that make me question the breakfast club in the first place. They spend more time apart then they do together. If anything, I thought this storyline would bring everyone together to help Nate...but I guess even that was too hard to ask?

And another thing. I in no way ship NS but where has their friendship gone?! I was under the impression that they bonded over the summer

I thought for sure that now that Serena broke up with Dan, that she and Nate would hang out more seeing as they were both on the "outs" with the world that they knew for the past year. If anyone would stick with Nate this season, I thought it would be Serena considering the fact that he and Blair broke up, and seem irritated with one another, and he and Chuck still have unresolved issues between them. I guess i'm just sad that they are leaving Nate completely abandoned when he needs them the most.

Ugh, I'm not even going to get started on NJ because I'll start bashing and I don't want to be disrespectful.

I know, CBNS maybe was just a marketing scheme of Josh's again. I cannot stress enough on how much I dislike him and his... ways. I know, and what I don't get is Blair seems to be the ONLY one out of all of them helping Nate out. Although I have to admit, Chuck attempted. Serena's been off in her own little world again.

I know, Dani, I feel so bad for Nate right now. He's all alone and he's coming across as a huge ass this season. He was boning the MILF and Vanessa at the same time. Wth? I really like Nate, it's such a shame. I honestly hope that 2x11 will set the record straight that Nate is actually a good guy.

I just don't want Chuck and Nate to be on the outs

I enjoy their interaction and seeing that Nate goes to live with the Humphreys both scares and annoys me. I don't find any reason at all as to WHY he would go to Brooklyn of all places. It really doesn't make any sense at all.

Dont get me started on last night.We need more Nate.It isn't a show without him.Does anyone think he's starting to be more of a recurring character? I hate that.

I do. He's either worrying about money problems or hooking up with random girls. He's had, by far, the least character development this season.

He's a main character.He means more than Chuck in the books.They barely noticed that Nate needs some development.

haha he's a bit exagerated but I totally agree with him, a little bit more of a character development would be nice... to find out some of his flaws because we'll still love him even if he makes more mistakes!

Well if they are really going into a third season, i'd much rather watch him sail away like he did in the books instead of going to college. Because I feel that if he did go away to college he would become less important than he already is. I'd much rather see him disappear than to have to suffer through all of this nonsense.
