I know, Dan is the only thing in the way of them being endgame. Since IMO CB will probably be endgame canceling NB (no offense, just how it seems to be going). I think, if they had good writing (since the chemistry is obviously there) it would work out to be like Pacey/Joey.

Yeah, thats definitely true.

I am sure they will always stay friends, even if they never get a couple..but I'm also sure that there will always be something lingering inside them, some feelings that are never really over, so it should be good either way. As long as we get SN scenes!

They don't end up together. None of them (Nate, Serena & Blair) ended up with each other. Nate picked neither of them. He sailed off to explore the world and left both girls a message that he loves them both - always have always will - and that they should love each other. But I still think if Cecily were to make a book for the sole purpose of closure - he's definitely pick Serena.The prequel screamed volumes to me on why.
