That's true.. there are a lot of people who are watching the show just for CB, like me. It's, TBH, kind of sad. GG is suppose to have many different aspects to keep the viewers' attentions.. but it doesn't. They have to have more CBNS.

Remember how bad things got after Marissa Cooper was killed off? Josh chose to fire Mischa, but he didn't listen to the fan response at all anyway. The petitions got pretty massive. A petition for NS might be a good idea, but I honestly don't think he'll pay attention.

I seriously don't know why he can't see NS' potential.

Physically, they're the most appealing couple.
They have such a great story to work with.
They have chemistry.
They have a reasonable amount of fans considering their scenes.
They actually are from the UES, which is SUPPOSE to be what the show is about (cough cough)
CBNS owns.
They would be a lot more interesting than a certain couple I have in mind.

I can go on but seriously, why not NS?

Because Dan (ie, token character based directly on Josh's personality) must stay with the lead female, and all other storylines are utterly inadequate.

Bleeh. Josh seriously does make himself Seth or Dan who hooks up with a hot chick. A guy can have his dreams or whatever but don't mess up the hottest couple ever's chance!

Haha, from what I've heard the lead character of his show Chuck is exactly the same - he even looks a lot like Adam Brody.

The other couples in general really need to be given a chance. Part of having a TV show is listening to the fan response - if you ignore it, the show will get cancelled. Which, er, happened to a certain teen drama last year.

That is true. The writers or Josh or whoever do not seem to listen to the fans/critics, asides on the CB issue. I don't mean to bash but a certain 'IT' couple on the show aren't exactly loved by the critics but Josh continues to drag their SLs on and on. I have read some positive NS reviews lately, all I can do is hope that Josh actually reads them.

Haha, there are more hardcore people on here, believe it or not.

And outside of this site there's a lot of people who hates the directions he takes with his writing.

I think his issue is that he takes his shows far too seriously. It's meant to be a cheesy, utterly ridiculous teen drama, but he thinks it should be classified as an elaborate masterpiece. If he loosened up and wrote the teenagers the way teenagers would actually behave, way more people would be interested in the show.

True. In real life, the most popular/pretty girl wouldn't be falling all over herself for the school's poor nerd. It just.. doesn't happen. And when it does, she wouldn't go all whiny and cheesy. It just pisses me off. Nate/Serena are what a normal teenage relationship would be.. but of course a lot more epic. It's just that it's more believable, is all. IDK if I'm rambling

What I don't get either is how Josh wants us to believe we like DS when they've had minimal to no buildup. It's not as believable. I can't ever ship random couples except for Tim/Lyla who have explosive chemistry and are ridiculously good looking with one another.
