THANKSGIVING ON THE UPPER EAST SIDE — It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving on the Upper East Side if there wasn’t a serving or two of some major drama for the holiday. Blair (Leighton Meester) suspects her mom (guest star Margaret Colin) has been keeping a big secret from her, but it turns out to be something else entirely. Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) is supposed to spend Thanksgiving with her parents, but has a fight with her mom (guest star Gina Torres) and shows up on Dan’s (Penn Badgley) doorstep. Rufus (Matthew Settle) learns that Lily (Kelly Rutherford) has been lying to him about her mother, Cece (guest star Caroline Lagerfelt). Chuck (Ed Westwick) tells Nate (Chace Crawford) that he has some potentially damaging information about one of their friends. Jenny (Taylor Momsen) learns that Eric (Connor Paolo) was behind her very public embarrassment at Cotillion and can’t pass up a chance to get even. Serena (Blake Lively) is put in a very awkward position when her mother invites Trip (guest star Aaron Tveit) and Maureen (guest star Holley Fain) to join them for Thanksgiving dinner.. The episode was directed by Mark Piznarski directed the episode written by Robert Hull & Joshua Safran. (#311).

Gossip Girl insider confirms to me exclusively that Broadway vet Aaron Tveit is reprising his role as Nate’s wealthy cousin, Tripp Vanderbilt, this November for at least six episodes.

Idle Gossip says the politically minded Tripp will announce that he’s running for office (possibly the senate) and Nate will get involved with his campaign. I’m told Holley Fain, who played Tripp’s fiancée, will also be returning for multiple episodes.

Tveit will juggle his Gossip arc with his current gig on Broadway in Next to Normal.

I haven't seen pictures of anyone else. I only saw those of Chace, then Taylor in her outfit (which btw was awful), Connor, Lily and Rufus, and that was it. I really haven't kept track of the other spoilers so I don't really know much about this episode except for the cotillion and the threesome bs.
