I actually think it worsened, Nik. At least in S1... he was the confused guy trying to take responsibility of the dysfunctionality of his family. Now he's just a manwhore. Grr.

I am seriously upset with GG this season. It's getting less and less interesting with every scene.

First of all, Dan and Serena trying to get back together is probably the lamest thing ever. Also, I am probably the only one who hates love sick Chuck Bass. Where are the bitches again? The scandals this show is supposedly about? Oh yes, it's probably Nate Archibald sexing up an older, married woman in order to get some cash so he can help out his family. I am all for Nate growing up and all, but this storyline is ridiculous to no end. His mother has never really been worth anything, but this is more than ridiculous. She is the adult, the grown-up, she's supposed to help the family to survive. And not Nate. As much as his father has told him to take care of his mother, I am sure he did not mean sleeping with Catherine.

I will give this show one more chance next week to get better, after that I won't bother watching the show anymore... Sorry, guys, but this is getting ridiculous...

Now he probably will have more SLs .. just really crappy ones. Actually, you guys are right about the SLs... he's always everyones b@#ch.

I know Zelda... they really are messing up. If I didn't love NS and CB so much, I would stop watching.

I'm sorry you feel that way, Lynn. I guess it would be that way for me too if I didn't ship CB. In fact, if it wasn't for CB, I wouldn't watch at all. And I wouldn't have grown to like the idea of NV, which is what has me posting over here on this board now.

Also, I'm spoiled beyond all belief so it makes it easier for me to stick around.

Nate has potential as a character... it's just sitting around waiting for the writers to realize that fact that gets tiring.

I really wish I could have a higher opinion of the new season. But I loved my bitchy Chuck and my bitchy Blair, and right now neither of them are really bitchy, you know

Maybe it's just because it was at the Hamptons, maybe it'll get better once they go back to school...

I'm with you Lynn on the Chuck thing. I hate how OoC he is. It's getting sickening now. The reason I ship CB is because they were so perfect for each other as they were but now they're both changing and it's life WTF?

And god I really hate the prostitute storyline. I can't Nate is so stupid as to not accept money from his BFF but he's willing to pretty much sell his body? The writers were seriously smoking crack when they thought up this one.

ANd honestly, I don't care about Serena and Dan, never have. They bore me with their typical teenage angst. I only watch for NV and CB.

As much as I still love CB, you guys are right. I don't want Chuck to be any less... Chuck. I don't want him to get all sappy. Vulnerable but not too obvious.

I've just watched the episode yesterday, online due to the fact I haven't got too much time

The Nate storyline is really pissing me off. I hate this Catherine. This better end soon. She's making Nate look stupid, henpecked and wimp. He is a really great character, he deserves a better storyline.

I don't know what's happening with Chuck and Blair either. They were supposed to be bitchy... and now, they're changing... they're vulnerable and stuff. It's not that I don't like it... for CB I like everything, but they need to make them interesting and I don't want them to lose their characters' essence that is what got them together.

I think they're "turning it up a notch" next episode maybe but for Nate that just means more whoring for him.
