Yeah, I feel like we kinda got screwed over there. It's like the writers cared more about trying to surprise the audience instead of actually telling a consistent story....

I just think they didn't execute it all that well. I wish we could have at least had Serena talking to Nate about Trip, & saying that she was just caught up in the moment & felt like she had ruined his marriage so she had to be with him, but never really had real feelings for him.

I wouldn't say they rushed them together. I just think that the narrative was a big disjointed, it's like the writers couldn't agree what they wanted to do, because one ep to the next would state things differently.
Their stories are still better than the other love stories on the show... __________________

The writers needed to be fired and let some new writers come in, maybe then the stories would have made more sense to everybody.
