Yeah, I know that they would accept anything they can get but it would be interesting to know what kind of role Kate prefers to play or if she's the kind of person that doesn't have any specification.

Most actors won't accept anything they can get, usually that's just as you're starting out. Once you start to build a resume and get experience and success, you can pick and choose what you want to do (not necessarily pick so much as choose though, you can choose what to audition for, and what to turn down because you can't automatically get any role you pick). I think since Kate is more focused on music, if she were to be in a movie it would be something she chose to do, not just any role. I can definitely see her taking a movie role that involves music though, and I think it's something that she should consider doing someday

I think that Kate would be much more likely to accept a role that involves music, like One Tree Hill, than one that doesn't allow her to tie music into the role.

Agreed! I can't see her playing something that doesn't involve music at all (not that she couldn't do it, just that I don't see her wanting to).

I think that The Script, John Mayer, and Matt Nathanson are all great song-writers so I'd like to hear what they could write together.

As for the performing part, I'd like to hear Kate sing with Bethany Joy Galeotti because I love both of their voices.

It's definitely a hard choice, since there are so many bands and artists that she would do great duets with.

It would be interesting to hear her and Jordin Sparks do a duet together, since they're touring together maybe they will.

Oh, that would be awesome if Jordin and her do a duet. I have a feeling Jordins voice might over powers hers or something though. Pretty interesting though!

Hmm, I never would have thought of that, now that you mention it that could be really great! They also have different styles since Taylor Swift is more country and Kate is more pop, so it would be cool to hear them do a duet and see how they mix their seperate styles.
