Yes you do. I went on my first international trip when i was 18, to the US. (Then again a year later, and i'm going a third time.. on June 20th.)

Hah, i was 19 when i went alone. The first time, my sister came with me becayse my mum didn't want me to go alone..
Funny enough the time i went alone, i had so much trouble with flights (whether they were being delayed, or cancelled. Hah) |

funny thing is that my parents weren't much concerned about me going alone for the first time, till they sheared the news with friends from work and they all joked i will bring a Paolo or Stefano back home with me
