I could never have switched.........it's always been Edward and Bella! I have not seen any of the deleted scenes from NM (not sure if any were included in my DVD...and I am embarrassed to say I have yet to check!!! But that scene was essential! Why would they cut it!!! Those 49 seconds say so much and more. Oh wow, you know I am pissed that it was cut!!! WTF!!!! I understood why he left and he does always take the blame. And yes of course I had read the books so I had a broader understanding. Thank you so much for sharing that clip...........

I could have kissed Bella myself when she looked Jacob in the eye and told him not to make her choose...Of course it's been Edward........why is it so hard for Jacob to understand..probably because he can't comprehend the love that they share. It's powerful...overwhelming, it consumes them both. Without each other they just don't work so well.

I didin't ge the feeling that in the movies Bella led him on but I was pissed when she left Edward and took off with Jacob on the back of the bike.

I'm happy I posted the clip then. I don't see why that scene was cut out of the movie as well...it kind of explains a bit why Edward decided to leave for the movie viewers...I feel.

Same with me, I could never switch teams. I just don't understand how you could with Edward/Bella, they are very perfect together...

I'm still upset that scene got cut out as well...wonder how many other scenes got cut out. I just think it was not enough Edward as it is, what will 49 extra seconds do to the movie?

I guess you loved when Bella told Jacob it'll always be Edward.
I seriously believe after Bella told him that, Jacob going after Bella anymore was ridiculous cause he was just setting himself up for disappointment so I don't feel sad for him at all.


Oh yeah how could I forget that.
Everyone was pissed off with that scene from Eclipse where Bella left with Jacob on the bike....that was just OOC [Out Of Character] for Bella. She'll never do that to Edward, hurt him intentionally. Yeah I despise that scene.

Yes it was..........it really don't make much sense why they did. That would have been a great question to ask TPTP. Seriously 49 seconds was such a big deal? Wouldn't it be just fantastic if they ever released an "uncut" version of all the movies. Or if not than a DVD with all the deleted scenes. You know there had to be others for sure than what we have already seen. Thank you again...
I would say those that did obviously do not fully understand Edward and Bella and what they share. Jacob to me was always a boy...Edward a man. Always respectful, considerate, compassionate....and on and on... They are perfect together...

When I rewatch NM I fast forward until he's back...I hate the void he leaves behind. I am sure there are other scenes as well....

You bet I did! It would seem to me that why would you do that to yourself when you know she is in love with another guy??? Jacob in the book was even more annoying! I don't feel bad for Jacob, not one bit. He certainly didn't give a rat's ass about Edward.

It was so out of character. I know she would not want to hurt him that way. I know that she was pissed at both Jake and Edward. Jake for not being in touch and returning her calls and Edward for not giving her the real reason he wanted to whisk her away to Florida.

No Problemo! I'm just happy you got to see it and yes the deleted scenes are on the DVD...well some DVD's have different extra's for some reason.

He sure was, Edward was just the man anyone would want to fall for. That's why I love what Bella said in the books...which I wish was added in the movie. I love him. Not because he’s beautiful or because he’s rich! I’d much rather he weren’t either one. It would even out the gap between us just a little bit — because he’d still be the most loving and unselfish and brilliant and decent person I’ve ever met. Of course I love him. How hard is that to understand?


NM fast-forward! I love it...I love that I can just watch the Edward scenes.

I will check to see what extras I have...hopefully I have this scene. If not I will buy the DVD that does!!!

That is one of Bella's shining moments.....that quote is the exact definition of Edward. It would have been a great moment in the movie as well.

And in Eclipse I have to fast forward through that whole God awful train wreck of a scene when Bella asks Jacob to kiss her............

I want to thank you for the conversation today. It's these types of discussions that I enjoy. Learning something I didn't know before, sharing views and of course basking in Edward and Bella's love.

I'm with you there, I have not watched the scene at all..even when the scene was on in the movie theater I was paying no attention to it. lol That scene is just too horrible to watch.

I was spared seeing that scene in the theater....and maybe it was a good thing! It is really uncomfortable, actually it's painful. I cringe, I have watched it twice through and that's all I can stomach.

It was very cool...and yes some pretty lengthy ones too....it would appear we could go on and on about the subject matter.

I am glad I am not the only one....

I had to watch that clip several times more tonight.....it really was a great scene. It should have been kept in but nothing we can do about that now.
