Yeah that is why I really dislike the whole storyline. I find the whole idea of imprinting creepy anyway, but then you add the fact that J imprinted on B's child. That only makes it creepier.

I agree it would have made more sense for him to end up with Leah. I do think that the writers did some good tweaking with the story...for instance I know in the book it's Bella that says to herself that she is the same temperature as Edward..I love how in BD2 it will be Edward saying it...I think it makes more of an impact coming from him. It's too bad that the imprinting thing could not have been tweaked but I suppose that would have been too much - after all she wrote the story. Oh well....

I trust in BC for sure he made the imprinting scene something I actually liked and for something so odd helped it make more sense with what he did.

Agreed Jacob and Leah should have ended up together. That might have made me like him a little better (trust me that would be an accomplishment)

They shared the same kind of pain too longing for someone who was clearly in love with someone else and that wasn't going to ever change. I thought they would end up together cause they bonded over that.

Bill really did an incredible job with part 1. I know part 2 will be just as epic if not more. He really understood the basis of this story - Edward and Bella and it really showed in part 1.

For Jacob, I feel a little sadness for him. He imprints on a child, something that totally was against the grain for him when he refers to one of the members of the pack having done the same thing. So that was a real disappointment for me and his character, regardless that it was Edward and Bella's daughter.
