I'm going to spoiler tag my speculation talk about the baby's paternity

I am not going to be happy until the drama settles. Personally, I think it's too soon to know who the father is. Something is going to happen to cause drama. Bell says that this is one storyline where we should expect the unexpected. Maybe Mary Jane messes with the DNA results. Maybe Adam takes Sharon's baby and gives it to Ashely. I think some crazy drama is going to occur.

Y'know, part of me wants to see Adam giving the baby to Ashley - I mean, I'm not generally one for baby swap storylines (just because every soap seems to have one every few months) but after all he's put her through thus far - at least in his twisted way he'd be trying to make it right. Plus you referenced before how the baby would affect the Abbots and the Newmans - so that would fit right in

now that would be pretty awesome if the baby's were switched. i'm still not sure if i believe this baby is Nick's though because i read on another board that the audience was going to know who the father was first but that someone else will think he's the father when he's not. either way, it's going to bring alot of drama.

Baby switch thing was already done in AMC and ATWT turn so I do not want them to do with Sharon baby

I guess what's coming up is more interesting than what is going on.

I did love Noah though on Friday telling Nick and Sharon how it is. It was fantastic. That kid has been through alot and lately all his parents seem to think about is themselves. I don't blame him for wanting to get emancipated. I remember when Nick came back with amnesia and they were both acting funny then and he wanted to live with Phyllis instead then so I don't know why they think he'd act favorably now.

it's funny lately on soaps it seems that kids all want to get out from underneath their crazy families. Now it is Noah's turn. I was so glad to hear him tell those two idiots off.

I wonder -pure crazy speculation again- if Ashley really did loose the baby. The SOD ..is the twist about Adam?

I hope so Sorry *fangirl mode off* I did read that bit in the SOD yesterday but I can't remember much - just more mentions of Chris being out and Michael being in - just sort of the others' takes on it. Other than that I'm just really looking forward to seeing how all of this is going to play out... which is why I maybe should've gotten that issue after all

While Noah has a right to be upset wanting to be emancipated is a bit much I think. His problems are fairly normal in the bigger sense of the word.

If he wants to get away from craziness he needs to move out of Genoa City! It will never stop.

I'm all for Noah getting emancipated, especially where Sharon is concerned. In the past few months she has not taken his feelings into consideration at all. I think she stinks as a mother and now she's bringing another child in the world. I feel sorry for that baby no matter who the father is.

And what was up with Devon daydreaming about Tyra? That boy has some serious issues. I mean now that he's found out she isn't blood he is fantasizing about kissing her. I think he has some kind of borderline incest fetish. As long as they are fake related, it's okay. I mean first Lily and now Tyra. It just makes me want to gag.

And I forgot about Nina, what is up with her. She is so nosey. What does Cane really have to do with you and your son? He's not your Phillip, he's not the guy you tricked and trapped into being your baby's daddy so get off it already. I mean I know that Cane is kind of schaming them but it's not like he's trying to run off with their fortune and I like him, and I really like him and Lily. He's the only mostly decent guy on the show these days and with Nina's history, she is the last one who should be throwing stones at glass houses.

I agree. It's one thing for his parents to bring him constant instability as far as living arrangements and everything else are concerned, but it's quite another to want to be emancipated. And for what exactly? The kid has been born with a silver spoon in his mouth: everything he has is because of what his family is giving him. For Christ's sake, his grandfather bought him his own car! So yeah, he has a right to be mad about his parents' situation and tell them that, but on the other hand, he's being a spoiled whiny brat about his so called problems.
