I was so heartbroken to read about Kristoff. He has been such a favorite of mine since way back when. I remember watching when him and Drucilla, Olivia, and Malcolm were getting a lot of screen time. He was a really good actor and brought so much to Neil. I am sorry that he suffered so much.

^ Yup, Sheamar always talks about how much Kristoff helped him and how they were like brothers... and this was way before his death.

It was probably like only a month ago or less when he was actually having fun and talking about how Kristoff has to shave.

So, I knew the death would impact him hard.

Well I've been on a very long hiatus from Y&R, but I am finally resuming fully this week. I know the headwriter change is happening so I'll be a part of that.

^ Yes... this is the week is when I finally resumed my Y&R watch for the first time in a long time... and since the showrunners are changing. I am back full time.

I don't even care about the domestic violence part of the storyline... I don't care how controversy that sounds because the DV storyline stopped being taken seriously the second they had Nikki "kill JT" and have the 4 women murder crew cover it up...
It turned to more of the crime and cover up than the actual DV...

And JT character was ruined without ANY real explanation.

Mal just did a terrible job with the story.
I felt the best way the JT storyline should've been handled the first time is that Niiki comes is the room, the police locks JT up and he goes to jail and suffer for a long time and slowly gets redeemed...

Yes he could've gotten redeemed since serial killers and rapist have when it comes to Soap Operas.

So since that didn't happen, I'm cool with any version that fixes JT.

^I completely agree with everything you stated. I feel they had such a good, serious story going and than just turned it into a laugh storyline. I wish it had played out well, showed how it fully affected not just Vicky but her family, her friends and most importantly her children.

Same! I wish the whole story was done different. That we got to see how JT turned this way through flashbacks, and what drove him to change so much while also seeing the abuse affects on Victoria and instead of killing JT, had him get arrested.

Same the JT storyline is such a hot mess. They could have done this storyline differently or even better imo NOT at all. JT/Thad deserved better than what Mal wrote for him. At least now with the writer guy he I s trying to redeem JT even if it with a brain tumor being the cause of this trash abuser storyline. Us fans know this storyline was trash. :blqnk:

I agree with you that I'll live with brain tumor storyline since the storyline never made sense to begin with and JT got destroyed for so reason.

Really upset with this Gina news.
