I love this scene so much.

To be a Prince, Nikolas was just so carefree around Emily from Day 1.

And of course, Lucky and Liz.

Oh for the gifset doesn't confused, left side is the first half of the scene, right side is the second side of the scene of Nikolas using the same line Emily used against him.

"How do I know you're not just saying that."

Interestingly, the money thing would be something they discuss a lot when they were in a relationship. lol

Because it's Nem and ain't even close....

It all aligned so great, because first it was Natalia who debuted as Emily, who made her return from school, and then a few months later, Emily called her BFF Nikolas to tell him about her cancer.

... ir she called him to ask him for a favor, and that's why he returned back to Port Charles, portrayed by Tyler again.

I hate to bang on about the NEM/Robron parallels (or do I

) but even these small details are huge parallels. Emily/Robert both recasts, Nik/Aaron returning characters played by the original actor and the characters were linked together immediately upon their returns.

See these things are why the parallels freak me the hell out.

And the recasts worked for both.

Even if before the recasts, luckily NeM has a strong foundation of a friendship already.

Yes that is my worst fear because even before I recognized the numerous parallels I've for a long time felt Aaron's fate was already sealed for how it ends if or when Danny leaves one day.

Tragic characters like he is can never escape their fates in the world of SOAP.

Emily and Robert recasts are undoubtly the best recasts to ever happen to their respective SOAPs. Pre-recast Robron (years ago before Robron was even an idea) didn't have the type of interaction that pre-recast NEM had so that's where the parallels differ.

A lot of tragedies mainly happen to big characters if the actor leaves though, so you are probably safe until (hopefully not) Danny decides to leave.

At least they don't have every single parallel.

That would've been too scary. lol

No she doesn't which shows the incredible job Natalia did.

And how Nikolas/Rebecca chemistry had NOTHING on Emily/Nikolas insane chemistry even though both Emily and Rebecca is portrayed by Natalia.

So, the only thing I can actually compliment about the writers is that Rebecca was NOTHING like Emily which is why they probably shouldn't have even attempt to have her with Nikolas.

I think they wanted Nikolas/Rebecca relationship to be different of course but it was difficult for fans to accept.... even though Rebecca and Emily were different. lol

So, yeah Natalia did a great job, I just missed Emily so much.

Rebecca didn't give me any Emily flashback though because they acted and looked nothing alike although they were twins and all. lolol
