Definitely Carly and Brenda were Sonny's best relationships and Sonny and Claudia could be great too since they are the recipe of Original SnC!

I loved that scene the other day when she was like "I came in good faith." and sonny said "Yeah you were wearing that linguire, looked very nice." (or something like that" "And you threw me out in front of all those people." "well." Haha I just loved Sarah and Maurice during that part, it was great, totally reminded me of old SnC if you took away the guns they were holding on each other lol!

That part really cracked me up.

Another thing about Brenda and Carly that Kate doesn't have is their Fiestyness. Now Claudia totally has that too.

Hey Everyone! Lexi can you add me please! I used to love General Hospital and LOVED Sonny and Carly when Sarah played Carly. I mean the one that replaced her Tamara was AMAZING as well but when both Sarah and Tamara left it didn't feel like Sonny and Carla anymore. I have been out of the loop concerncing the show but hearing that Sarah came back as another character really excites me!

ADD ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I didn't like Sonny/Carly with Tams as much.

I loved her as Carly too. Laura is Great as well.

Have you seen any of Sonny/Claudia yet?

You are right he was gonna go back to Brenda.

I think Emily was a strong woman. I liked Sonny/Emily.

Well,yeah,while Lily was alive I did not consider her his "true love" or whatever bc obviously it was Brenda but I think that because of how she died,in his mind,she became something else.I think Sonny's mom and Lily are the reasons he sometimes seeks out these kind of weak blah women but like I said,obviously those aren't the kind of women he really belongs with.He only works with the feisty gals.

ITA! He did not love Lily. He was with her because he couldn't have Brenda. When he could have Brenda, he was ready to dump Lily and go back to the woman he truly loved.

Once again: ITA! I have enjoyed Sonny and Kate b/c she is the first pairing in YEARS that was tolerable. Yet now that I've seen Sarah Brown and MB together again - there's just no spark better than the one they've got! These two are perfect in all their scenes together!

I still am having to get used to seeing her and not thinking she is Carly (this is why I couldn't watch SB on any other show b/c she's always been Carly to me) but I am getting there. I'm starting to see her as Claudia.

On a side note - was I the only one who couldn't take "Carly" and Jason playing pool? That scene felt so fake and ... well, fake. SB and SB (Steve and Sarah) were the ones who played pool. Having LW in those scenes just didn't work, IMO.

I actually liked it. LW is the only acceptable Carly replacement for me. But I was wondering how they were trying to play it? Were they flirting or just two old friends having fun? Either way I liked it. They are soulmates, don't ya know.

But I see this thread hasn't been posted to in awhile. Are we still liking Claudia in light of what is about to go down? I am not sure how they could ever be together after this. I am not sure how she will continue breathing after this...

I read in Soap Opera Digest about what is fixing to happen and Claudia states that she would never hurt a child, so it's a accident gone bad, so I think somewhere down the road Sonny can get over this and somehow bring the families together.

Claudia did set things into motion but I do believe what she said Friday that she would never hurt a child. She was Michael at one point. She knows what that life is like and wouldn't want it for any kid. I think that is her saving grace. In that situation, she never would have wanted the hit to go through with Michael being there and she truly didn't intend for him to be hurt. With Sonny, it is just business and that was fine. Kids are another story and that hits home for her.

On a side note, I loved the scene of her visiting Michael. It felt like his true Mom was there. I know Sarah Brown is Claudia now but she's always going to be the real Carly to me. I love, love, love how they had a nod to her history with Robin and she automatically has major sparks flying with Robin and spewing hate every time she sees her. It feels just like old times!
