Welcome to the 25th Thread Celebrating the Relationship Between Brenda Barrett and Michael "Sonny" Corinthos Jr.

The Model and the Mobster, the last of the great supercouples. This love story captured us beginning back in 1993 and continues strong today, especially with the return of Vanessa Marcil to Brenda. Fans of this couple have always known Brenda is the love of Sonny's life and we can't wait to see Maurice Benard and Vanessa Marcil together onscreen once again!

Their Love Story

"All this time and we haven't been properly introduced. I'm Sonny Corinthos. And you are?"
"And I'm leaving."
"Well, it was nice to meet you...what did you say your name was again?"

That line from Sonny to Brenda made me swoon today.

It encapsulates everything I feel about what kind of life Sonny has lead after Brenda was presumed dead in 1998. And Maurice delivered that line perfectly.

Seriously, what is it going to take to entice Vanessa to stay?

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Maurice joined Twitter (he's pretty fun to follow, he has very passionate views about American Idol, lol) and he mentions Vanessa sometimes.
