| Days too has a thing coming up in May In California. here is a website for the Soapmania thing..they said 39 cities, those aren't free...but a lot of the ones mentioned in SOD you have to pay since those are charity events. | And the Emmy's will be broadcasting from....... I brought ya'all the prenomination thread..so I figured bring this over from SOD/SOW website.. Breaking News  Daytime Emmys To Air On The CW GoldDerby.com reports that The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences are about to announce that the Daytime Emmys will be broadcast on The CW network in late August, most likely on Aug. 31. The news ends months of speculation on the dismal fate of the awards show. Though The CW doesn't air any daytime soaps, it is the home of GOSSIP GIRL and various talk shows that are also in the Daytime Emmy world. DVDs of performances from all the pre-nominated actors (Check out the pre-noms here 2009 Daytime Emmy Nominations ) have been mailed out today to the voters. Nominees in the major categories will be announced on May 14 during the fourth hour of the TODAY show. | I read it wrong, I read CW and thought it was that station like VH1 for country music,  last year it broadcasted the Miss America pageant; it wasn't until I read Gossip Girl that it cleared up which station. And August is a long way off for them to wait to see who wins.__________________ My darling girl, when are you going to understand that "normal" is not necessarily a virtue? | I don't think The CW is a weird choice. The daytime emmy's get like 4-5 millions in ratings, and that's big for the cw. __________________ | |||
