Rex and Gigi annoyed me on OLTL, it became the Rex and Gigi show and almost every storyline was about them. Or characters and other pairings were kinda lost or destroyed because we all had to focus on Rex and Gigi. One of the main reasons I stopped watching OLTL, I found them annoying and dull.

Supercouple Era of writing always written IT for each other.

Modern writers never can change this.

Besides Jennifer recently told Brady Jack was her one great love.

JnJ death is the only thing keeping them apart obviously.

The idea that any of the classic supercouples don't belong together is ridic.

I never even shipped Bope but it's the same with them.

Death only keeping them apart.

Well it's really stupid that they think Chabby shippers want them be anything like EJami.

I will take a healthy loving relationship over the toxic mess EJami were & how the writers never dealt with any of the bad by sweeping it under the rug.

Even if I'm not loving Chabby 3.0 they are better than EJami in every way.

It's not really dislike them.

The new writing is helping along with both Billy & Marci giving it their all in their scenes.

The last few Chabby moments have been beautifully acted.

It's just something for me that's missing.

It makes me sad that on Billy's Birthday tweet someone wrote that Kate was the best Abby.

I used to really love Sonny/Brenda but she had a nervous breakdown b/c he left her.

That's just terrible & loved the chem. SnB had the best love scenes.

Maybe that's why loved them. It's really actually such a toxic relationship.

GH ruined Sonny's character. They just keep on doing it too.

So I've been thinking about the way he has treated women over the years & how bad he has been to them.

Carly had a nervous breakdown mostly b/c of him too.

I never liked Sonny/Carly much. I thought orig. Sonny/Carly had a lot of chemistry though.



I'm sick of Days couples that don't even come close to be Supercouples be compared to them.

These are the Supercouples & it's a insult for to any other couples to be compared to these Classics.

There is a reason they have stood the test of time.

There is a reason that this show is remembered most for all these couples.

Days was best written with them & all had something special that has been missing for years.

It makes me sad & pissed when any are compared to them.

I feel like saying have you seen the Supercouple Era?

Then try any way poss. to see it.

Yeah but I guess we can say that Sonny character has sadly always been written so up and down but recently it has definitely gotten worst.

Of course they made him see Stone, and are slowly trying to calm his character down again? I wonder for how long.....

I tried to like Sonny/Carly, but I can't. And it has NOTHING to do with me liking Sonny/Brenda since I loved Brenda with a lot of people.
sort of was obsession over Brenda/Jagger

Its just how weak Carly comes off in the relationship. A dang shame what has happened with her that now she is choosing Sonny over her own daughter. It hurts me to see her character slowly getting destroyed to be the perfect match for Sonny.

And I feel like that for Brenda, if she had to be destroyed to be with Sonny, I'd rather not have it at all because how much I love Brenda.

Luckily Steve/Kayla are still going pretty strong....

Soaps haven't had proper new supercouples in a long while I think. Though I haven't been watching that much. But I haven't really heard much on the grapevine.

I only actually out of all Days Supercouples love Jack/Jennifer & John/Marlena

I recently saw some early Bo/Hope & probably would have shipped them in the Supercouple Era.

I've seen a little of Shane/Kim & they didn't attract me.

The same with Justin/Adrienne.

Steve/Kayla saw a lot of with Jack before Sony took them off YT.

They bore me then & on the show now. Jack made them interesting when he was there.

Doug/Julie wouldn't even know how I could ever see them.

They are fun together now when they are on the show at times.

The great thing is there was lots of diff. couples to love & all well written.

Even the ones I didn't care about got this amazing writing.
