Yes, Ric was arrested for his murder so he kept insisting that he had nothing to do with it and the cops were like well, how the hell did his signature end up on that document on that day of his murder? That's when he realized that Madeline must have gotten to him and murdered him. So he made a deal with the cops that he could expose her if they would release him of all of this so they did that and Ric has done his job.

Yep, she was being nasty about it but Michael told her that what Franco did didn't matter because the point was that Morgan is so messed up and they should focus on that and not think about who caused it or who told her or whatever. Amazed that Michael was so mature about the whole situation.

I like Franco in his new role as art therapist at the hospital it's actually very fitting for him especially with his history. He was the perfect person to spot how bad Jake's issues are.
