Actually you are correct.

And her little war with Amber! but yeah she wasn't that horrible when she first came into the series, she fell for Rick first but certain things happen and she fell for Thomas, and eventually back to Rick and that's when her character took a path way down!

She started to tone back down when her affair with Ridge was revealed.

And to an extent, probably a bit to weak for me... it was like looking at an different character.

So, Ridge brought her back to herself a bit I guess?

Maya started off great, and did what she had do, to get Rick back, and slowly has been returning to herself.

Probably Rick is the problem.

That's what I was going to say.

These woman want so much to be perfect for Rick that they go to crazy lengths to the detriment of their natural nature so yes he's 100% the problem.

Amber, Caroline and Maya all fell under his spell and were willingly to do anything to win his love but it was Maya who truly tamed him in the end.

Best thing about this storyline is seeing Rick/Maya be such a great couple again but I dislike this storyline.

^ The storyline will be painful and dramatic but at least the positives are that Raya are finally back in the thick of a storyline that we always knew was coming and we get to see more of them with Lizzie too.

Bad timing that the adoption papers suddenly have an issue that needs to be fixed requiring Nicole's signature while she's conflicted (not helped by Julius sticking his nose in).
