Well, it's because writers wanted to relieve dead show for that is just...not right, you can not rewrite something like that and expect fans to like them or ship them just because of history. That's why so many of us are pissed and don't like it not to mention how Silas treated her is just horrible. He constantly chose his wife over her and didn't act on getting divorce with her when he kept saying that he's with her and in love with her and such but he never acted on that, another reason for us to be mad at him because he basically made her to be "another woman" if that makes sense.

Their first kiss started around September and they have decided not to go there till this month when they finally got together. So you should watch from summertime to now because they had been gone on adventures and having fun as friends but you can tell there's feelings going on there.
