I think the main reason I love these two is because they have this old school feel to me. Just how their relationship is written. I really hope it continues.

I get the same feel from them, love that because it shows that it isn't dead and to me seems more like a real romance than just some summer fling

Yup.

I am just not sure I trust the writers here which is why I can't 100% get invested in them and even trust Travis yet.

^ I'm not sure about whether to trust the writers either. I feel the same about not being sure about trusting Travis because so much is still unknown with him.

Yes I feel that too with it coming across as a fresh romantic love story instead of some causal tawdry fling. The way they started out it easily could've been a disaster if it hadn't been for the way they've been written and portrayed by Amelia & Michael.

I think the other thing refreshing about this romance is that it's no in the family. lol Travis isn't related to Billy or anyone. lol So, it's nice to see a fresh romance where two people meet each other for the first time and click.

Your right it's refreshing that Travis has no familial ties into the show. But let's see how long that lasts because Dylan started out with no ties and look at him now related to almost everyone in some way.

If they have Travis related to anyone, they should let it be Travis.

There seems to still be things to know about her character so that would be an interesting twist.

I hope it stays this way with Travis though, however, I just mainly hope for him not to be shady.

I've seen similar comments on twitter about wanting Travis to be a unknown relative of Sharon's.

It'd be nice because it'd give Sharon someone else and make Travis history more interesting and it'll make me believe Travis will stick on the show a little longer.

Also, it'd be funny since Victoria and Sharon don't get along.

Hahahaha! Yeah the years of discord between Victoria and Sharon would be funny to see play out over Travis. It would give a bit of assurance that he could stick around a little while if he was a cousin or half-brother to Sharon.

I'd rather him be related to Sharon than be an Abbott. Though leaving him with no relations is best, he can bring a new family in or eventually marry Victoria and make a life in GC the way Stitch did.

What was the latest Tricky scenes to air? All I remember is that Travis was being accused (by that prick Luca) of having something to do with some problem that Newman was having.

Was that mess sorted out?

I'm four episodes behind and no to your question, the truth of who is trying to sabotage Newman isn't out even though the viewers believe it's Luca.
