I agree with you. And I think it does make a difference to know where JJ stands on this whole situation. Plus, I think we should have the right to discuss it since he's so incredibly passionate and honest about his beliefs.

I just hate bringing it up when the haters like to throw the religious card up in his face over their own discriminations of him: like he won't do sex scenes, he won't take his shirt off, he won't drink, etc. They shouldn't be allowed to openly attack his beliefs when he's never let it stop him from doing his job, and doing it more spectacularly than anyone has expected of him.

I would also like to say that Lucky was spiritual too. That's why he did the Permanent Lock vows in a church. That's why he questioned with his father where Stone went after he died. That's why he wondered about his place in the universe many times over the course of JJ's run as Lucky. And also why he was known for being soulful and deep. It was innately a part of Lucky from the beginning and something that really gave Lucky a truthful sincerity about life.

I am not just saying this because Greg is my favorite Lucky. I am giving respect for JY playing the role even if I could give two s**ts about him. LUCKY returned to PC in 2000. Her first love has ALWAYS been in town. So it was asinine for them to promote it as if Lucky just came back simply because one of the higher up's favorite portrayer of Lucky has come back.

Yes, it was.

I could never forget all the build-up to that day. There were no words to describe how excited I was. I couldn't wait to get home each day to watch the episodes.

I remember reading in SOD that Greg and Becky went to TPTB to change up the vows a little bit to make them more reflective of their relationship and how the character feels about the other. Their delivery of the vows was just perfection.

Elizabeth's vows were so good but Lucky's was just PHENOMENAL. I loved his SO MUCH. When he started out with "You're just beautiful", I seriously became a bowl of jello.

Wasn't Steve Burton also verbally attacked by some viewers at one time or another for supposedly not wanting to do explicit sex scenes and bare his chest? I think it's insane that any one would attack someone period. After all this is just a show and a fictional one at that. What they do or don't want to do based on whatever moral values they have is their right. And frankly, I've never watched daytime television for the hunks in some superficial way. It's always been human emotion, character, family, etc. I'd rather see Jason stop being a hit man returning to his old-school charms, and Lucky to actually grow a pair and catch a clue, before I care to see either of them bare their chests and jump into a hot tub. And think about it. Nikolas bared his chest to Elizabeth as part of the worst relationship storyline in years. No matter how hot one thinks Tyler is, no amount of bare chest exposure can make up for the damage.

Yes, there has been an ongoing thing about Steve Burton not taking off his shirt during love scenes. Jason/Sam fans were LIVID that he did it during the ONS with Elizabeth and not in the love scenes with Sam in their relationship the first time around.

They should be satisified now since it seems he is making up for it in their current storyline.

I completely agree with you. I get where you're coming from and I emphasize. I'm sorry this is hurting so many people.

But this is about ABCD's public relations, and handling their promotions, and they don't care. Trust me when I say that for certain.

They run a business and they'll do as many gimmicks as it takes to promote the show, and lure people back in. And so far it looks like it's worked because people have gone crazy over JJ's return and the prelude to a possible L&L2 reunion.

They absolutely suck for doing this. But I'm not surprised they did it. Moreover, I see more of this coming despite how inflamed some of the fans might still be about the whole way this all went down.

Oh, I *know* they don't. I am completely aware of that and I should not have been surprised that they would try to do something different but ended up doing something as bad or WORSE. WTF is wrong with Liz?! First she told Lucky that she wanted to spend her night with him and he didn't even offer her for it, but she started to make a move on him all to just think about her so sordid affair with Nik and then she stopped in mid-way just to run out on her to be with Nik and mocking off his lips in the public, no less.

Lucky said all those right things that scared the crap out of her but hey, she deserves it because she knows that she so doesn't deserve a great guy who would do anything for her.

It showed ALL VERSION of their so-called affair, do you know that?! I had to turn my head away when she showed the flashback and I expected it to be one second, but nooo it was like whole from start to the end.

And then she stopped with Lucky.

I know!!!!!!!!! This is what I wrote at the abc board! I started a thread there called Anti Nicholas and Liz, Pro Original LL..........

Usually I would never start a anti thread for any couple that I didn't like but under these circumstances I think I have to start one.

After watching JJ back in his element and watching Liz and Lucky together I felt the magic and connection that I felt back in the 90's. To see Liz go to Nicholas and want him the way she does feels so wrong.

THEY NEED TO END NOW!!!!!

My heart melted when Lucky made the reference to when he used to sleep on her floor and I swear it was like I was watching them 17 years old again with their whole life in front of them. They are ruining the orginal LL. I guess I didnt really care when GV was playing Lucky because it never felt like LL to me but now with JJ back they need to watch it. The writers better not ruin the magic, the energy that I relate to the Orignal LL. They are PERFECT and Nicholas and Liz is just getting on my nerves. Teen Liz would NEVER consider being with anyone else and I feel like with JJ being back that its the couple that could NEVER be with anyone else and all of this right now feels wrong on so many levels.

Okay fine, Ill go along with it for now but when Lucky does find out I dont want them to break up and then Lucky find another love of his life. I want Liz and Lucky together more then anything specially because of JJ but they need to do it right.

Anyone else agree?
