In 2005, she won the first season of Dancing With The Stars. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2003 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Dama Series for her work on Port Charles and again in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work on General Hospital.  Banner by Jen of A2L Sam McCall was a con artist for most of her life and rarely stayed in one place. A short romance with Jasper "Jax" Jacks brought her to Port Charles, where she eventually found her birth mother, Alexis Davis. A fling with Sonny Corinthos, Port Charles' resident mob boss, left Sam pregnant and alone, until Sonny's best friend and mob enforcer, Jason Morgan offered to take care of her and her baby. When the baby was stillborn, Jason and Sam managed to help each other through their grief and along the lines, they fell in love. After being engaged for three years, they went through a messy break up, leaving Sam to seek revenge against Jason. Enter Detective Lucky Spencer. A relationship that started out of revenge soon turned into so much more when the two fell in love.
