Kelly Monaco, Emmy nominated actress, starred in Port Charles as Livvie Locke and Tess Ramsey before taking up her role as Sam McCall on General Hospital. In 2005, she won the first season of Dancing With The Stars. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2003 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Dama Series for her work on Port Charles and again in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work on General Hospital.

Sam McCall was a con artist for most of her life and rarely stayed in one place. A short romance with Jasper "Jax" Jacks brought her to Port Charles, where she eventually found her birth mother, Alexis Davis. A fling with Sonny Corinthos, Port Charles' resident mob boss, left Sam pregnant and alone, until Sonny's best friend and mob enforcer, Jason Morgan offered to take care of her and her baby. When the baby was stillborn, Jason and Sam managed to help each other through their grief and along the lines, they fell in love. After being engaged for three years, they went through a messy break up, leaving Sam to seek revenge against Jason. Enter Detective Lucky Spencer. A relationship that started out of revenge soon turned into so much more when the two fell in love.

Yeah, I think I was trying not to talk about JaSam here, and Sam didn't have much that wasn't about Jason for awhile there.

that's true. most of her scenes were JaSam centric. at least now she has the whole Krissy deal and Alexis to discuss.

Exactly why I haven't much to say about her here. But I am hoping that she will get her own storyline without him, so we can talk about her scenes with her family or friends.

I wish she had more scenes with Maxie. I love their friendship, and it has the added bonus of Maxie being tolerable when she's with Sam. But just the two of them. Spin can't be there, too.

Daaamn, I swore that we got a lot of Sam's apperciation threads with others around here.

Yes, I want them back on screen, but like you said Spin is always around, but one good thing, just TINIEST good thing out of this is since she is at Jason's apartment which is likely that she will see Maxie often since she's with Spinelli who is currently living there.
