You've stated everything that I feel about that matter. I don't buy Babe being out of love with J.R. either. J.R. and Babe are the romantic loves of each other's lives. They have stated as much several times, including, as you stated, the fact that they would never fall out of love with each other. It makes no sense to put J.R. and Babe back together for one day like that just to have Babe state that she's not in love with J.R. anymore. It makes sense that this would cause J.R. to go on the drunken path again, sure. But it was not necessary. How do these writers expect us to buy anyone else as Babe's true love, if they ever write such? And, as we can see, J.R. is still madly in love with Babe.

Also, it makes no sense that Adam and Krystal are still being written as true loves, but the J.R. and Babe romance (or what's left of it) is being written the way that it is now, with Babe having stated that she's not in love with J.R. anymore. I mean, Krystal still wants Adam romantically, but Babe doesn't want J.R. romantically anymore, even though they were always portrayed as greater true loves and are the popular couple out of those two couples? Silly writing. And this new Babe doesn't seem more mature, but rather not Babe at all. They should have never recast Babe.

I really wish it had been Alexa though, because nuBabe just didn't sell it very well. And the couple deserved better than that.

But how amazing would it be if Alexa came back to AMC when they relocate to LA? A girl can dream!

I hope that Alexa comes baccccccccccck to re-originate Babe. Jr and Babe have far the best chemistry eveeeeeeeeeer.
