You know I'm sure they'll be some initial awkwardness with some of the newer cast members, but I'm actually more concerned with Steve and Maurice. Though they are still technically playing Sonny and Jason I feel the characters are so far removed from the time JJ was around. Basically they are different characters to me, and that is in part because of how Steve and Maurice are playing the roles as much as how they are being written.

LuLu is another one I'm not sure about based on the character not being what I always though LuLu would be. There's not a lot of Spencer in her, especially since the abortion plot faded away.

It's going to be weird for Steve and JJ, I'm sure. I know that they have considered each other friends, and they were also friends onscreen the last time JJ was here, and now...yeah, not so friendly, lol. And Lucky was very fond of Sonny- they went on camping trips together, hung out at Luke's together...I think it was Sonny who protected Lucky with his own body when bullets started flying at the Spencer house. But it might be fun, or at least challenging, for Steve and JJ, to create a whole different dynamic. I'm a big fan of anything that might make those two wake up for five minutes, lol.

I imagine creating a new dynamic with JJ will be VERY odd for Kelly in particular, as she and Greg seemed quite close and Greg is eight years older than JJ. Kelly's going to feel like a cougar, lol. On the other hand, I think she's actually younger than his wife.

Yeah, KeMo is younger than his wife, so, maybe it wont be as awkward for JJ?

It's def. going to be interesting to see.

There's an 11 year age difference between Lisa and JJ, she's 38. And actually, she's a tiny little brunette thing, so she doesn't look altogether unlike Kelly, lol.

That would be awkward and weird for JJ and Steve to work together as...not friends anymore.

I would imagine how they are going to interact each other without all the hatred and anger involved.

I am soo intrigued about Kelly and JJ's work together because like you said, it might be weird, but who knows? Maybe they can make it work?

That was...not good. LOL. And I mean, I was biased. I was furiously unhappy they recast Lucky at all (I was like 15, lol, so the finer concept of recasting wasn't really working for me), but seriously. From JJ...to THAT? What did I ever do to the soap gods?

Great picture, despite Jacob's pants taking the focus away of the three incredible people standing next to him. No personal disrespect, because I know he's done well on other soaps and is generally liked, but he's definitely looking like the odd man out here. I'd brush that whole era off completely, but I'll never be able to forget, like I believe you mentioned before Cris, those horrible and unnecessary re-shoots of some of LL2 most epic material. Talk about a slap to the face. And the same would go if, Jonathan and Becky re-shot the Wyndemere wedding.

Yes, which tied into a subplot with Damien Smith and Co. I'm sure others can fill you in better. My memory is getting rusty.
