Hello.

I'm so happy that Jonathan Jackson is returning as Lucky Spencer that it brought me out of lurking. Ever since I heard I've been trying to rewatch all of the old GH clips of him and Elizabeth.
I haven't watched GH for years though because the crap that has been on. So I have to admit that even though i'm really happy he is back. I'm also a little scared that the writers will screw this up.

As much as I love GV and he owns my heart, I am still giving JJ a shot to see how he goes with everybody else on that show. I think I will like him though.

Did you come into the GH scene post-JJ's run?

Even with significantly better writing, Jonathan's job was hard when he first came in. It's hard to come on that young period and not be SORASed within a year, and it was VERY hard to be the firstborn child of the legendary Luke and Laura, with everything that needed to be there in order for people to be happy with him. That he became so popular in his own right and not just as "Luke and Laura's cute and irreverent kid", and was even half of his own budding supercouple by the age of 16, I think is a testament to Jonathan's talent.

Yes, that's right. I just started watching few years ago, about three, at least.

But I have heard wonderful things about him so I knew that I would like him so I am very easily person to like anybody on that show.

Jonathan's not in this one, but it IS the true origin of Lucky Spencer on GH, so while we're going old school here. Laura tells Luke she's pregnant, and is determined to name their son Lucas Lorenzo Spencer Jr.
