It really should have been Rayna. It's a business deal that should have come directly from Rayna. With their history he did need to have a conversation with Scarlett about it too but not instead.
This is the kind of thing that pisses me off. Rayna should not be taking a backseat to Scarlett with her own frickin label. Rayna is in charge of the label, she should be the one approaching producers even if they come at Scarlett's suggestion. I do love that the Deacon stamp of approval was enough for Rayna to trust Avery's producing skills __________________

 but god, that fight between juliette and avery was great. and the scene outside. jj and hayden know how to bring the angst for sure. __________________

It was a great scene. I can see where juliette is coming from, obviously. i'm such a stan.
She JUST offered him that deal and he felt it was her giving him charity where as his EX ask for the same and he jumps at it. idek. I don't like Scarlett. I just... __________________

I was so team juliette during that fight, but I can see why Avery got defensive, she did open the conversation into a fight.
And their talk outside, I love that they go from fighting to having that mature conversation about what they want.  I need Scarlett to go away and never come back __________________

at the end of the day, anyone who comes against Juliette isn't going to win in my books. Even more so if they drag down Avery.

Haha, yeah exactly the same for me! I feel like since they've taken her away from Gunnar and that storyline they've kinda just made her more boring and unlikeable. And now pushing her with Avery? It's just not good.
