SOW: Why do Sam and Jason work so well?

SB: Sam is different in the way that she is the first character who isn't stopping Jason from doing what he does. He hasn't had that before. It's a great element. The whole fight is not always, "Oh, your work is too dangerous. Your lifestyle is too dangerous," like his last few relationships. It's a whole new level.

KM: Plus, Sam can relate, because of her background. She can understand what Jason does, leading the lifestyle that she's led in the past.

What is your favorite JaSam moments?

Personally I have a ton I don't know if I could pick but one that really stands out is the spidey kiss. I love how Sam says "I never pictured you for the kiss and run kind of guy" and when she asks if he would miss something important if he kissed her goodbye. I think I like it so much because you know that Sonny got to the police station just before Jason so you kind of feel like their loved saved Jason from confessing in a way. I also love the first time they make love and them in bed with Hope and the first time they make love after Jason loses his memory. I love when she comes downstairs and he pulls her in to his lap. There really are just too many LOL I mean Stelly is so amazing that even I love even the littlest stuff. Like in that dreadful dancing storyline there is a scene (like 30 seconds) and Sam is sleeping in Jason's lap and he is stroking her hair and then she wakes up and they go back to super heroes and start planning their escape. And Sam's wedding to Andrew where she pretends it is Jason is in a lot of ways better then most real soap wedding I have seen and has definitely effected me more. Like I said at the beginning of this 2 page post LOL there are just too many to chose from because Stelly are just too good.

Some of the other moments I like are the Dominoes/Tequila scenes...because Sam tells Jason that he is an "extraordinary" man who knows how to love, and also how funny they are during their dominoes game. I also like the elevator scenes with him saying "it wasn't a choice...more like necessary like breathing..." And the scene for which you included the quotes about how he has never loved anyone as much as he loves her. Also the mask face scene is hilarious!!!

I can't pick any certain Jasam scenes they all rock! I love Jasam and all their scenes are awesome! They are truly the best ever! The Dominoes and Tequila scenes were beautiful too! Alright I thought of some I can list! I love them all, but here's a few I love Jasam moments that rock too! biggrin.gif

1. Rain Dance & Kiss
2. The Hawaii scenes and Sam wanting to make a baby with Jason and him to not leave her alone
3. Run to me scene
4. When Jasam get home from the doctors and Sam is in a green shirt and she say's "I guess we can start having that baby whenever we want"
5. When Sam is waiting for the results for the pregnancy test and Jason is in Sonny's desk waiting to and she comes down and say's "she would just like to dream a little while' "and imagine him holding their baby"
6. First kiss when they get home from Nik and Emily's wedding and fall to the floor and afterwards Jason caring her in his arms
7. Their first time together and Sam bringing baby hope to bed with them
8. When Sam's in a pink shirt and she tells Jason "she thinks she might be pregnant'
9. When Jasam are at Kelly's and her and him talking about going on a boat and him taking her far away from Port Charles and Sam 'saying maybe that’s when we will conceive are first child"
10.When Jason gives Sam the star necklace and he is leaving out the door and Sam wants a kiss before he goes
11. When Sam looses the baby It was sad though, but It so tugged at my heart
12. When Sam cooks Jason dinner and burns the chicken and she throws It on the floor
13. The hospital scenes when Jason was having the surgery
14. When Sam wanted some alone time with Jason and she put her scarf over the hospital window door and lit candles for them
15. When they fell asleep in the hospital bed
16. When Sam tried explaining the night after their first kiss that she's only going to drink water from then on
17. Christmas when Jason gave Sam another star necklace
18. When they were talking about what their kids would look like and them kissing and heading toward the stairs to try to get pregnant
19. When Sam surprised Jason with dinner and everything was so beautiful that part of that other scene too
20. When they got the news at the hospital from Robin that they could start tying for that baby
21. When Jason believed Sam during the kidnapping storyline and Sam helping him and taking care of him when he got shot
22. When he went to the train station to help her
24. When they were trying and took the test not very long ago and It was negative. Also Sam saying "something like they can keep trying” and Jason coming home and seeing the pregnancy test in the box on the desk
25. When Sam showed up at the penthouse with baby hope

Okay, guys, so I just got back from spending the weekend in Chicago, and meeting Kelly. Let me tell you, she is literally the sweetest person ever. At my table she was asking everyone where they were from, then thanked us for coming, and when I told her I was nervous she rubbed my back and my arm. Just really the sweetest girl. Okay, now onto my recap.

Kelly came in a little after 1 and the first thing she did was have a moment of silence for Greg and his wife's family. Then after she did that and said how it was sad, she started the Q&A. Someone asked her what she thought of having the same fight with Elizabeth and she seemed really tired of that.

Then someone asked her about the whole Elisabeth fiasco on the View. She said how Elisabeth had come to her before the show and asked her if she was nervous. Elisabeth told her she'd have her back, just give her a look across the table. and she said she knew that Elisabeth wasn't going to be like that, so she was prepared going out. Then, of course the drama broke out and she just basically said how her and her boyfriend have been together for 17 years and are very in love and devoted, but they're humans and they have other crushes. She said they can be honest with each other about that, it's fine. She even said how her boyfriend went up to Tyler and told him that Kelly had a crush on him. Funny.

She mentioned how Elizabeth was supposed to be the one that hit her, but someone didn't "approve". So she came into work one day and an entire 4 months of storylines was just gone.

Then she came around to all the tables, and at my table we talked about why everything got so screwed up the last 2 years. She said that she had told everyone, Steve, the writers, the director, producers, everyone that she would resign. She said she had told them until she was blue in the face, but they didn't really believe her. She said how Steve went to the writers and pushed the Jiz thing because if she didn't resign then he would be left with nothing. She did say she understood why people did what they did, though, because they were trying to protect themselves, and she didn't sound upset about it.

She also talked about love scenes during the Q&A and said how they're uncomfortable. She says that suddenly 50 guys that are never around, have jobs on the set. She said, they'll be like trimming the hedges on the next set.

She sounded really disappointed with the entire Daytime Emmy pre-noms thing. She said she wished she could tell us, but she couldn't really give too many details. She just basically said how it was a popularity contest and shee guessed the people she worked with just didn't think she was good enough.

She mentioned how during the TMK thing she fit really well in the trunk. She said she was cool with being in there. You know, just check on her every few minutes, make sure she has air. She also said how she was kicking at the seats with all she had, but she couldn't get it to open, so finally Steve just had to pull it.

I knew it was because they weren't sure she would resign that Jason/Liz was pushed. I'm not even mad at the Steve thing. I completely understand not wanting to be left without a story.

I was disappointed at the pre-nominations as well, the woman did a great job with all her emotions especially when she found out about the baby, broke up with Jason in jail. WTFever, I hate popularity contest. I think she deserves it more than any IMO.

Plus I read someone's recap on SZ that

She said similar to what MO did that it has become popularity. She said Nancy didn't think she had the material this year and when she realized Kelly hadn't gotten a prenom asked them to swap her (Nancy) for Kelly. But they said no. But Kelly said it was sweet of her.

I think that's sweet of Nancy. Thanks for the great recap Katlyn. I hope ypu had fun

I had a hard time believing that the writers would destroy such an amazing love story like Jason and Sam...Now it's a bit clearer.

I'm still a little upset with the creators/writers...because Kelly told them that she will resign, yet no one believed her. I find that really odd...why would she lie about that? It makes no sense.

I understand Steve not wanting to be left out...but I still think the main people who should have the say about storylines are the writers/creators because it's their characters, their creation. Some of the above quotes show the Jason/Sam love...so strong and powerful and very real. Then suddenly it's Jason loving Liz out of nowhere...it makes no sense.

I understand Steve being worried about his character...yet, I just don't understand why no one believed Kelly when she said that she'd stay.

Also, once she did resign officially, did all the paperwork, why didn't the writers slowly start to write back the JaSam romance? Instead they continued with the Liason thing...which now seems to be a result of Steve Burton, rather than the Liason fanbase, it seems.

And did Kelly say specifically anything about Jason/Sam getting back together as a couple or at least as good friends? I think there are a bunch of people who have said that Kelly might have mentioned something about a JaSam "reconciliation"? Do the JaSam fans have any hope?

And Kelly signed when? For how many years?

Yeah, I heard she officially resigned, I'm not sure as to how many years.

I don't know why they didn't believe her as well but I don't think they could have stopped the Jason/Liz story because by the time she resigned, I think the damage had been done with the kidnapping and the I'll kill you.

Yeah, it was bad.

But I do believe we are seeing a rush on Jason/Liz and somewhat of a pull back. This is my opinion but when a couple has only random scenes together, I don't see the big love.

I'm not saying they are coming back to Jason and Sam but I don't see Jason/Liz either

Can we please not keep saying Steve is the reason Jiz is still going on? He may have pushed for it in the beginning, but no one knows what's going on now. It's just really irritating to read.
