No, not the same show, Night Shift is sort of a spin off show, that uses quite a few of the GH characters and crosses them over.

Soaps You Watch: I've been out of the soaps for a few years, but I'm getting back into Days and GH. I grew up on the NBC soaps, so it was Days, Another World, and Santa Barbara. Then I watched Sunset Beach and Passions (stopped before it left NBC). Somewhere along the way I started to watch GH. I even scheduled my classes to be home to watch Days and GH when I was in college a few years ago. They're the two that I'm invested in.
