I think the GL fans will do anything to keep it away from Brian Frons, hence the no Soapnet thing. The Lifetime pitching seems odd to me too actually. I have to wonder if that has something to do with Proctor and Gamble.

I was wondering if they were going to bring back Danny or if Michelle was returning alone. I'm glad they at least appear to be returning to Springfield together for now at least...LOL

Alan actually was kind of human for awhile...it seemed...oh but Dommie...I do believe the whole town actually ends up down there...

You weren't kidding. THE WHOLE TOWN except those involved in the Otalia story.

Shayne what are you going to do? I liked that he didn't tear Henry away but for how long, until Marina and Mallet fall more so in love with this child??? and then what?

Tom Pelphrey is set to reprise his role as GL's Jonathan sometime this summer, a rep confirms. Air dates have not been released. The actor relocated to Los Angeles when he left the show in 2007. He last returned to the show for a series of episodes in early 2008 to help wrap up the Jonathan/Lizzie/baby Sarah storyline.

If you are a Guiding Light fan in, or near, New York City later this month, you may want to lend your support to the Save the Light campaign. Organizers have set up a "Save the Light Rally" to be held on May 22. To participate, you should arrive at The Early Show plaza located at 59th Street and 5th Avenue by 7:30 AM that day. Bring your banners, your buttons and your smiling faces to help show your appreciation for the show and your hopes for its future.

Since many will not be able to make the trek to the city for the event, organizers are encouraging fans to hold their own rallies at their local CBS affiliate station. If you take part in any of these events, be sure to get in touch with Soaps.com about it. We'd love to hear all about the experience.

Which is funny since Crystal and Jessica were at Universal meeting fans. I guess they couldn't come up with a good reason to have Otalia take a quick trip to Florida in the middle of all their angst

I didn't know they were down there too. Well damn, why is it that CBS decided to pull the plug if they sent the whole troop down there for the fans.

What did you all think of Philip walking away from James today? I am unsure what I think of James right now, sometimes he is a pain, then you know you feel for him because he is like every child on a soap, neglected. So when he wants his parents, his daddy, and everyone else wants a piece of Philip too, you sort of side with the kid, but then he needs also to know that you gotta give a little.

And then Lizzie, Marcy was overlooked for an Emmy nod?

I see Daniel and Jeff got a nod but not Gina or Ron and Marcy.

Oh I'm ridiculously cranky about the Emmy noms this year. I think Crystal Chappell in particular was completely robbed.

I think Gina was robbed!! GL too, it has been one of the best soaps around, and I only have been a fan for a year and a few months. They had me crying, laughing, raging and then longing, yearning, hoping, back to waiting for the discovery. I haven't tuned out once since I began, AND THAT CAN'T BE SAID about a lot of the others.

Right now I am wondering who killed Edmund?

But in former GL news, John Driscoll who played Coop is going to start working at Y&R. So congrats John!

Yeah, as much as I got sucked in from the Otalia angle, the show on the whole is definitely on point compared to the rest of daytime right now.

I wonder about Edmund too. They have a whole little murder mystery all in play it seems.

I watched Early morning show on CBS but didn't see the Rally or the signs...but here is a blogger's that stated that at least 30 were there
