I know Luke and Lucky are apparently estranged at the moment and Luke has reportedly been on one of his major "useless piece of ****" kicks, and I don't want that to be swept under the rug, but hopefully they'll pay more attention to the relationship now.

LOL, I was such a ditz when I met Rick at SSW. I've been watching him like, all my life in one soap or another (I was raised a CBS soap baby at my grandma's knee, heh) and suddenly I'm standing in front of him and it came out a completely incoherent babble of "OMG, and when you were on Guiding Light, and when you were on...!" But he could not have been more gracious. He is such a lovely person, and so incredibly talented to have been so wasted as a Sonny prop.

Well thanks ladies. Now I don't feel I have to bow my head in shame. But if there was any relationship to ship for hotness with out consequence to characters and family, it was them. Of course I kind of lost some interest when Ric was found to the viewers to be a psychopath. But even then I was still drawn to them. The fact that Lainey never diagnosed him never made any sense to me.

I would of loved to meet Rick. He seems like a complete charmer, and just a all around great person. Plus, to come face to face with a man of such incredible talent. I likely would of babbled more than a bit myself.

angel_wings05 - You said you heard Genie is coming back? Is this in rumorville or has it been confirmed?

That's what I had thought. Thanks for the clarification though. It would be interesting to see her perspective on the Niz situation in terms of being a mother to both parties affected and in the wake of finding out about Ethan aka that Luke bore another child himself. Other than that, I'd rather have her stay away unless she plans to stay for an extended period.

Don't do that. I actually didn't mind the Elizabeth/Ric pairing as well.

I absolutely LOVE Rick Hearst too. IMO, he is/was one of the BEST actors that GH had. Just PHENOMENAL. And, he's such a wonderful person in real life. He can talk all day/all night. I've met him a few times and he talks to people that he's been friends with them for life. He is so sweet and down-to-earth. I hated how GH treated him as well. Totally their loss that they will never notice, let alone, admit.

I had mostly REALLY good experiences with the GH actors that I've met, but Rick might have been the best. He was so GENUINELY nice, so genuinely interested in what the fans had to say (even if, as in my case, it didn't come out in an altogether intelligent manner). He's just a thoroughly nice, gracious human being.

Although Derk (Max) was also incredibly nice. I actually just bumped into him, and he talked with my friends and me for like an hour. And one of my online pals had the SN of like, MaxsBodyguard and he actually knew who she was (from reading the board), and took a picture holding a sign saying hello to her as well as writing her a note that I was able to mail to her. So he took a lot of his own time to be nice to not only me but a fan who wasn't even there, and I thought that was really cool.

That's awesome. One of these days I should actually lay out the cash to go to a fan event. I always find some way to not justify spending that kind of money, but it's something that needs to be on list of things to do before I never get the chance.

We were just talking about Genie- this is from a 2008 interview with her (audio only) where the interviewer reads her a message from JJ where he calls her a "gift from God" and talks about how much he learned from her, and she says he's like her first baby, and her experience with him made her realize she was ready to be a mom. Very sweet exchange.

RH is absolutely amazing. He was one of the best actors GH had and I was so pissed when he wasn't given good material most the time. When he was though, he knocked it out of the ballpark. I was always thoroughly amazed by him.

Hmmm I met a lot of the cast but I say the nicest were: Chad Brennan (Xander) was so sweet, so was Kelly Manaco, Greg Vaughn, Laura Wright & Bradford Anderson

My first time Jason Thompson experience was amazing too

I met him 3 times

The first time at SSW I had a fast pass to meet Kelly McCoulough (sp?)/ Robin, and Jason popped in and sat with her & took pics & met the fans

I was so excited b/c thats who i wanted to meet the most & his fast passes were all gone by then

So I got pics with both of them

I wish they brought Chad Brennen

I met Chad! He was great. It was so funny, lol, I walk up and he goes to shake my hand. "Hi! I'm Chad!" As if I didn't know, lol. But he's just a regular guy, nice and normal. I've met Tyler...four times, I think, really nice guy. I met Alicia Leigh Willis (ex-Courtney) several times, she's a doll. I've also met Becky, Steve, Ted King, Kelly, Scott Clifton, Natalia...trying to think if I've forgotten anyone, lol. If I have, it'll come to me.
