I’m glad I created this thread because Laura’s last man she was with I did not like but with this thread I hope fans will make me like KevLaur.

I like LnL and Lotty but never liked KevLaur.

I haven't been watching GH but for 2 years and don't know all of the characters' background, so I like Kevin with Laura together. Hope the spoilers aren't correct when they say

I loved Genie during the Story of the Soaps segment! Brilliant! Love her finally being able to call out rape for rape in stories!

I didn't know that during Elizabeth's rape storyline that Laura confronted Luke.

^ It shows you how much Genie has to pretty much remain silent about her true opinions about it in the 80s since Luke/Laura were being written as a supercouple and their popularity...

It was, I believe that Elizabeth being rape allowed Laura to finally see things from a different perspective seeing as before she was protecting Luke for the most part. Then it got rewritten to be called a rape seduction to justify it because Luke and Laura became so popular and of course 20 years later, Lucky found out the ugly truth and it made him lose respect for both of his parents. Luke for being a rapist and Laura for allowing him to get away with it for so long.

Laura met Elizabeth and she saw her pain which made her open her eyes to realize the wounds of what happened was still there.

Thank goodness for the writers of the 90s for finally calling the rape what it was.
So Elizabeth getting raped really opened a whole chain of events of great storytelling.
