So, I wanted to know, how did you come to watch VL, what are your favorite couples and characters? What did you think of last week's episodes?

I felt so terrible for Gregor this week! First when he runs into Sarah and wow, his eyes in that scene. And then that scene where she comes to see him and he kicks her out

That scene where he runs, then stops, leans his head against a tree and screams "Out, out of my head!" was really rough to watch. Plus, I really hated Leonard a bit in that scene when he is all "Well, it's Gregor's problem to get over it.".

What do you think of Leo and Sarah anyway? Most people hate them because of what they did to Gregor and they, particularly Leo, can be so self serving about it. They did have some cute scenes this week though like the kiss in the car and when they rode back on a hay truck. They even had some sweet dialog when Leo beats himself up because the car broke down and he wanted to take her to Paris and for everything to be perfect. And she says:

L: For what?
S: For this. (and kisses him)

Or later when he says

L: I just can't wait to finally make you my woman.
S: Don't you know I already am?

(ok, I'm paraphrasing wildly here)

The prettiest thing of the week was of course the Judith/Constantin dream kiss. But there is one thing that really disappointed me.

In the episode summary it said that Judith would kiss David and that the kiss would just make her realize that there is just no chemistry between them. But to me the scene didn't play out like that at all

I didn't get the impression that Judith was any less crazy about David afterwards.

BTW, there are two more stories other than Christian and Oliver that are being subtitled. TorridGermanLove on youtube is subtitling the Tom and Ulli love story, the gay couple before Christian and Olli. They start kinda similar (they live together, Ulli has a girlfriend, a kiss happens, Ulli has an older brother he doesn't want to find out about him being gay), but they actually quite different in a lot of ways. You can also watch the German Only clip that are further ahead.

I have to say, though after the latest German clips... at the beginning I thought Nina (the lesbian owner of the No Limits back then) really was the best friend anybody could have. But now I'm starting to get to the point where I feel like screaming "NINA get a life!!" because they really always run to her with every little thing. LOL. They really are very different from Christian and Olli. They constantly, in every single episode it feels, run to somebody else and have long detailed conversations about their problems.

Also subtitled though in lower quality a lot of the time are the different romances of Carla.
Carla and Hanna (<== so sad; even if you normally don't like lesbian storylines, this one is really good)
Carla and Anke (I kinda like Anke. Ok, I realize that she isn't the best actress and she isn't all that good looking either but I think it's kinda hilarious how she tries to seduce everything that moves)
Carla and Susanne (Carla's second big romance. Susanne is a kinda dorky character at the beginning. I think it's funny how the whole story starts like a typical romantic comedy flick in some ways)

It's a good idea to start a thread for Forbidden Love

IMO Carla had the best chemistry with her assistant Evelyn. Carla had two big lovestorys but Hanna and Susanne (married!) didn't make it to the castle. She doesn't need (or want) a "housewife". I liked her affairs more than her big lovestorys.

I'm not really an artist but I was in the mood to try to make something like a banner and that's what came out.

And somehow I have a problem with the wideness on my computer,too.

My favourite couple (besides Christian and Oliver) is Judith and Constantin. I like that Constantin is romantic (the star he named Judith)

Me, too

I think Gregor/Olivia would be so refreshing and interesting for both characters. Rebecca just rubs me the wrong way.

They seemed to share an attraction/appreciation for eachother, but he turned out to really screw with her head, alot... right? I couldn't tell from just the Ollian clips.

And what exactly did happen with Sarah/Leonard? Aren't they step brother/sister... and wasn't that the original plot of VL?

And I thought I was the only one to feel that way! That scene with the two of them all spent on Carla's couch in Carla's office was just hot. Plus, Evelyn kinda looks like Olivia Wilde from House, doesn't she? I loved slutty!Anke and I even liked Marina (the mini affair after Susanne). My favorite scene was when Marina first started insulting Carla when Carla took her to her appartment and then changed her mind. And then later they meet at the gym and Marina thinks that Carla is married with a child and accuses her of being in the closet.

Carla's face was hilarious because she isn't used to anybody talking to her like that.

I get kinda sick that Carla keeps falling in love with straight girls for her big romances and then gets all jealous of her women with men. How about it Carla, how about really start falling for an actual lesbian next time rather than treating the lesbians only as your affairs?

I don't like Rebecca/Gregor either. But I'm gonna be unpopular here, I don't like Gregor/Olivia either. I just can't picture it. For one he already slept with her and apparently it didn't impress him enough to ever want to do it again even with Olivia asking for it constantly. Plus, his big issue and trauma with both Sarah and Max was that they screwed him over and that he has trust issues now. So really, Olivia really is the last person who would be emotionally attractive to him, I'd think. Since he has seen first hand how she has screwed over other people like Angar and Andi. And he has made it pretty clear that Sarah and Max's behavior made them the lowest of the low in his eyes. So no, I can't imagine him ever having feelings for Olivia. And as we have seen, there apparently isn't enough sexual interest in her on his side for him to have a casual thing or a hatesex thing with her. I guess I just don't see the connection.

As for Rebecca, she's just so uninteresting. I mean, she is not the worst character ever and her acting has gotten slightly more natural lately. I even get why Gregor is in this relationship. It must be really refreshing for him to be in a relationship with somebody where the other person loves him more than he loves them. Gives you a feeling of security. But that doesn't really change that it just doesn't feel like the real thing where he is concerned. And while it makes sense that he can't really fall in love again that quickly after Sarah, it's kinda not nice that he goes out and has his unemotional relationship with somebody like Rebecca who is so young and so starstruck with him no matter how much she pretends to be all experienced and world-wise.

I really do want to see Olivia get a new love story though, so I'm tentatively looking forward to

Olivia/Sebastian. Seems like they are getting a "My Fair Lady" type of story. It sounds like a potential for lots of humor. Plus, I wouldn't mind one second if they dropped Lydia/Sebastian. They are as dull as dishwater.

Judith/Constantin, I agree. They are just soooo right with each other. I loved them ever since the first meeting back then when Fabian had broken up with her because Lisa sabotaged his college application for Japan.

I really hate that they keep putting her with all those other guys.

I'm sorry, all Brandners just feel inherently boring to me. Why would you want to stick a cool fresh character like Judith with them?

I'm kinda afraid that maybe they have some sort of masterplan that somehow requires Judith to be with a Brandner (and that that might be why they wrote Fabian off only to immediately replace him with his brother).
