I've actually given up on the notion that it will ever end, this whole summer thing is based around them. I think instead of hearing the viewers complain about this couple, they think we are all delighted and so they will just keep thrusting it at us. So i will just ignore.


I did have one thing to say about her today....it was nearly a miracle that she saved her own butt. Normally we have to watch him come in and rescue her, her very own white knight, the pickpocket (at the very least DAYS should have given us some SUBTITLES -so that we could know what farce was being played out), was an idiot that he gave her the chance to get up, dig around and fumble in her purse to get out her mace- so if he didn't get anything from his intended victim, he will be wiser next time As usual, I am filled with venom when it comes to this pathetic, whiney, needy barbie doll.


I loved Batman TOO! I need to go see it at the IMAX theater...just so that every bit action piece, I can feel like i am on the edge, on that batcycle, repelling off one roof gliding into a building, just be in the thick of everything. I plan on going to youtube tonight just to catch a few more glimpses of the stars.

if you can ..i suggest going to soaps.com (Sounds Delicious. - Days of Our Lives Daily Updates - Soaps.com ) and reading the daily recaps. I will give you my interp of the day and tomorrow, but sometimes i loose my train of thought or I get biased, and i get rather long winded...and only give my take on the subject. Like yesterday. I only said one thing stood out for me and that was a BIG GIANT OH MY GAWD barbie stood up for herself for once. When the action started yesterday, she was so freaking timid and screeching out Max name. So it stunned me to see she could do something for herself. AND sorry SharTheLove but this was the first time I have actually seen this one person do something for herself. Maybe the new writers are going to give her some backbone. One can only hope.

Ok...so today.

Mostly legal stuff. Bo is anxious. He doesn't want Hope to be on the case any more because he is too worried that the taint of his withholding evidence will rub off on her as well. She knows he is hiding something. Just not sure what.

So he got a call about the jacket too being found, and he went to the station. Philip had driven Morgan there and they were waiting to hear what is next. Just standing around.... waiting and Roman and Abe at one point were discussing dragging the river...and who overhears this, and is very upset, Morgan. You wonder that those two couldn't have discussed in an office, instead of upsetting her more.....but then again it is a soap, and this is the drama.


When Bo came in -he saw Philip and he got more agitated......and later they discussed what Bo did and the reasoning and Philip thanked him over and over again, and told him that BO knew that he wasn't a killer and that is whey he choose to help him. I couldn't get the gist exactly right...so in the quote box is what soaps.com states happened.

Philip thanks him again but pithily tells him that what's done is done. Bo won't leave it alone. If it turns out that Philip is a killer, he will confess what he did and turn him in himself. When he opens the door, they see Morgan standing there.

Ava and John were in the mansion, when EJ came in and told her that she shouldn't be planning anything in the near future. The evidence and the case against her, and it isn't just one case he said, but the Irish government too wants to get her sent over there regarding the plane crash/sabatoge of the plane on their soil. She is facing three counts of murder, the two pilots and Shawn. One of her cousins plan on testifying against her and is getting immunity. This is just the beginning, they didn't even talk about the charges of kidnapping and shooting Hope. They talked about how she was drugged and still the DA is playing hardball. She said that her dad would have been able to get her out of this, and EJ then suggested that maybe she needs to talk to some of her people that she knows and he will try and find some important and powerful people and maybe they can find a solution.

Anna and Kate talked at the pub, about children, grandchildren and family.

Max and Steph get a step closer to his sister, Ava weighs her options, Steve gets the truth out of Bo.


Max is getting bored traveling across France. He tells Steph that he's excited and apprehensive about meeting his sister. He has no idea what he'll say though. He asks the conductor when they'll arrive and is told that there's been a slight delay. While they wait, they go over their plan to track down his sister. They only have a street name and the street is fifteen miles long. Steph calls one of her old friends for some help and discovers that there is a girl's school in the area Melanie called from. They guess she could be a student there. He tries calling the school but they refuse to tell him anything. Stephanie isn't surprised; he's a guy which means he's obvious and awkward. She tries calling and quickly finds out she goes to school there. He's impressed. They snuggle.

Daniel takes Chelsea out to the rooftop of his new apartment with his hand blindfolding her. He takes his hand from her eyes to unveil the view of Salem at night. She can see everything from there. They kiss. He wonders if he'll be allowed to sleep up there. She guesses he's made a commitment to stick around for awhile. "For a variety of reasons," he teases before saying the reason is her. She sits on his lap and suggests that Bo is beginning to accept them. They worry about the stress in the family but he tells her not to try and find out what's going on. He tells her that the guys will sort things out because "that's what guys do" and she should stay out of it. He repeats that it's his "intention" to stick around for awhile. He turns on some music and asks her to dance. After twirling her around, they sway and cling to each other.

Marlena goes to see Roman at the station. He still has no information about John's disc. She explains that the DA has contacted her to turn over the notes from her sessions with Ava. Ethically, she can't do that. Roman reminds her that she is one of their consulting therapists. She says Ava came to her; the department didn't send her. They talk about how Vitali has sublet Sami's apartment and what it must be doing to Steve and Kayla.

Morgan stands in the doorway of Bo's office. She asks he and Philip what they were talking about. They say it's just about Victor. Philp walks out with her. Morgan continues to worry about her father. He offers to take her to the sorority house. She doesn't want to be alone. He offers to take her to his place instead. Bo watches them, frustrated. Marlena catches him kicking his desk and asks what's wrong. He's got problems with a case but can't talk about it, especially to her. She offers to recommend someone then. He turns her down and walks over to his brother, reminding him that he is a suspect in Paul's disappearance and it's stupid for him to be hanging around his daughter. Philip wants to be there for Morgan. "If I find out that you and Victor played me..." Bo threatens. Philip protests his innocence again and walks off.


Patch watches TV at home before laying down and opening a baby book called "Daddy, Don't Drop me". Kayla walks in and tells him Joe is sleeping. "I'm sorry sweetness," he says. The whole Ava thing is something he can't forgive himself for, especially because of what happened to Shawn. Kayla wants Ava to pay. Later, Steve grouches about Stephanie leaving with Max. Marlena and Roman come to the door. They discuss the testimony they will be giving at Ava's trial. Kayla wanders off and Marlena follows. Kayla admits to her that she lost it when she discovered that Ava moved in across the hall. Marlena apologizes on John's behalf, blaming him for initiating this. Kayla just wants Ava out of her life for good. Marlena is sure it's only a matter of time before she hurts someone else. They begin discussing Bo; Marlena is concerned about him. Kayla doesn't know what's wrong but offers to find out. Meanwhile, Roman explains to Steve how all of the charges against Ava are going to play out. He knows that part of Steve feels guilty about all of this, but this is not his fault.


Later, Steve and Kayla discuss the trial. He's sure that even the drugs won't stop Ava from being convicted. She should be going away for a long time for what she did. Ava's dangerous whether she's sick and drugged or sane and sober. Stephanie calls to check on Joe. They catch up and Kayla wonders when she'll be back. Steph has no idea. Steve's relieved that she called. He wants to go to sleep. Kayla has other plans and they involve beer. "Beer?" he smiles, bewildered.


In France, Max sits in the train car, more anxious than ever. He's frustrated that he still has to wait. Steph reminds him that they have half an hour so she knows what they can do to fill the time.


At the DiMera mansion, Ava pours a drink after getting bad legal news from EJ. John quizzes her about what deals she could make. He suggests she's likely to get prison time and reminds her that he's still facing charges himself. She suggests another option: "We could just skip bail and leave the country." He's not about to leave. He's admitted to nothing and never will. She heard him talking to Tony and suggests that the police will come after him over Paul's death. "Fine! Let 'em come!" he growls. She shows him pictures of her family's villa in Tuscany. It's nice but he still refuses to leave. She guesses the real reason is Marlena. "Blondie has no sway on my decisions," he says. He's annoyed that Ava's resigned herself to going to prison. She's being realistic. She doesn't want to run and doesn't want to leave him behind. He tells her that this trial will take a long time and they can be together. They continue to argue. She refuses to give up easily. He's happy and offers to make a call for her and walks off.


The doorbell at the mansion rings and Ava answers it only to find Marlena standing there. The doctor strolls in and explains that she's ethically bound not to testify against her, whatever her personal feelings may be. She then suggests that she move somewhere else. John walks in and announces that Ava will be staying with him. Marlena asks to talk to him privately. Ava makes herself scarce. Blondie wants the truth out of John about Paul's disappearance. He lights a cigar. "Did you kill him John?" she asks. Ava eavesdrops.


Back at the station, Bo calls to have everything on the Hollingsworth case brought to him. When the stuff is brought in, he spreads it over his desk and begins searching through. After time goes by, he gets a call and leaves.



Bo and Steve meet at the pub and drink. Steve admits that Kayla asked him to find out what's bugging him. Bo says he just has a tough case. Steve wants the truth. Bo insists he's handling it. Steve prods. Bo promises that he's not in trouble and then confesses that he covered up evidence. Steve is shocked. Bo admits he only did it to protect his brother.


Philip brings Morgan to his mansion. She asks for a hug.



Next on Days of Our Lives:

Kate tells Philip that Bo might not be the only one who thinks he killed Paul.

"I could lose my badge. I could lose everything... including Hope," Bo worries.

"You and Ava have gotten mighty friendly," Marlena observes. "Well, I suppose you have grounds for divorce then," John shoots back. "Shall I do that? Is that what you want?" Marlena asks.

Linden Ashby Back to Days of our Lives! Wednesday, July 23 2008 soaps.com SPOILER Considering how often people come back from the dead on Days of Our Lives, it should come as no surprise to learn that the character of Paul Hollingsworth is in fact alive! With his portrayer, Linden Ashby reprising the role beginning July 30th, the mystery surrounding Paul’s disappearance is certainly getting more interesting. Instead of swimming with the fishes, it seems Paul has been hiding out in John’s basement this whole time. After John witnessed Paul getting rolled into the river, he apparently rescued the former customs worker and stashed him away so they can figure out what to do about Philip. So now that Paul is alive we have a few questions. How will he react to learning his daughter is hooking up with his nemesis? Who threw him in the river in the first place? And will Paul return from the dead a changed man? Soaps.com is thrilled to learn Linden Ashby is coming back to Salem and can’t wait to learn the answers to all of our burning questions!

Did you really? I was very surprised..as soon as I read it... I rushed over here to share. I am clueless to what ? really, so do you think...Philip thinks he did cause the "murder" ..........DANG...is this spoiling stuff for others? if so, I am sorry.

I knew August might be a better month for Days. I was and have watched on and off this July......not really inspired by much that was going on.
