SOD are the only one that isn't confirming it & after they rigged the CIN & Tiara poll for Tripp to win when fans have saved showing the poll on Twitter.

Every other Soap Source is reporting he is back.

It's pretty dumb but can understand why they don't want to to make it official to have surprises.

I buy Ben's redemption way more than Franco.

He has real remorse & is starting to take responsibility from his last scenes with Ciara last week.

He understands he can't change what happened but like Jack realized thanks to Jennifer that he can still fight to be a better man.

SOD loves JnJ. There is a new article that is about hating JenEric & mentions how both had better pairings with JnJ & Ericole.

Jack is a rapist & still they love JnJ too. It's always going to be in his past.

I don't think Jack has ever been able to get over what he did & he shouldn't.

Both are terrible & unforgivable IMO.

The show did have Kayla & Steve forgive Jack for raping her eventually.

It took years to happen. Jack did so many good things for them too.

Jack was Steve's long lost brother not as a retcon SL too.

I mean Steve pushed Jack & Kayla together when he thought Jack was dying.

Steve always loved Jack as a brother deep down.


So the whole family aspect made a diff. here most.

At least Ben's child abuse from Clyde was always the story & not a retcon too.

Jack raped Kayla in 1987 & didn't get true forgiveness until 1990.

Jack was still the villain when JnJ had their first scenes in 1989.

It was supposed to be Jennifer/Emilio not Jack/Jennifer at first.

Fans & writers saw the potential for Jack's redemption & undeniable chem. between Matt/Missy.

Plus JnJ made a lot more sense together as a couple since they both were reporters for example.

Back then there was a lot of SL used with both being reporters that was just another way they were unique to other Supercouples.

I want CIN to have a slow burn like JnJ so bad & for people to still hate him until he proves himself like Jack did.

Jennifer didn't fall in love with Jack over night.

She still wasn't ready to be with him romantically even after bonding over baby Hannah.

So Ciara shouldn't want to be more than friends with Ben especially seeing him off his meds the way he was.

She doesn't have to go back to Tripp.

I could see it happening maybe like how Jennifer was with Emilio.

Nothing on Twitter is gonna make another one happen with Soaps having such low ratings now either.

No Days that is new couple has been so big it could have that kind of effect after them.

This was the 25th anniversary JnJ were the Supercouple of the show at the time that's why they were with Tom/Alice. :sigh:

I remember this was the point I had to make like 35 minute long edits to include everybody in their SL b/c Days had such a huge umbrella SL with Lawrence joining the show as villain & Jennifer was right there in the mix.

I will always consider JER modern writer not classic.
